22/09/2024: Sur la route, ce petit restaurant dans un petit village près du grand Chambord est une belle découverte. Le soir, il propose un menu simple avec une suggestion à l'ardoise et quelques plats à la carte. C'est de la cuisine maison traditionnelle, simple et savoureuse. Le cadre est atypique avec une ambiance brocante, des objets chinés, des tables et chaises dépareillées. Dommage que nombre d'objets portent des slogans en langue anglaise. Le service est plutôt rapide et le cuisinier s'enquiert de la satisfaction de ses clients à table. Les tarifs sont ceux d'une auberge sans prétention à la campagne et sont donc très raisonnables. La serveuse n'est pas aimable mais on passera sur ce détail à relativiser lorsqu'on est de passage.

06/09/2024: Very disappointed even though the restaurant was recommended to me by a hotelier. We arrived first and waited 40 minutes before the Dish is served. In addition, the dessert, although good, was not at all presentable, crumbled shortbread on strawberries. And finally restaurant a little expensive for the service.

04/09/2024: Limited offering, 3 starters, 2 mains plus a vegetarian main. Should be a succes story. Unfortunately not, tasteless "perfect egg" and chewy steak with overfried potatos. Good cod fish. Very expensive wines and average service. Not our place to be.

25/08/2024: Everything very good. The only point to take into account is that it is EVERYTHING decorated in Tin Tin. If you don't love that maybe the experience will be a little strange.

26/06/2024: Visiting Montrichard for an introduction to falconry, my partner and I arrived in town around 1:00 p.m. and the idea was to find an open establishment to have a bite to eat before hitting the road again. We saw the light, we went inside and sat down. There was one dish of the day left: beef bourguignon with three desserts of your choice. I, who loathe beef bourguignon, which is a dish that is not to my taste, did not want to turn back so I did violence to myself. And I loved this establishment. The staff is friendly, welcoming and attentive. The dish was magnificent and we noticed that certain things had been added in order to move away a little from the classism of the homemade Burgundy with onions bringing back a lot of acidity, crunch and perfect seasoning, and it worked. Dessert, a French toast-style brioche with a small scoop of ice cream with a crunchy note and a caramelized apple works too. The coffee, without talking about it at length although it should be noted, is of very good quality. In short, an establishment that shines for its simplicity and yet also for the refinement of its dishes and the kindness of its staff. Often out and about, your establishment is typically the kind of restaurant that you enter at random in a region that you don't know, but to which you could return every day. Thank you :)

31/08/2024: Very nice discovery!! Restaurant on the water's edge with a nice view of the city. Pleasant and smiling server, responsive and efficient. Tasty cuisine and careful presentation with very correct quantities. I recommend!

18/09/2024: The first thing to say is that the two gentlemen owners are delightful and so friendly. They made us feel very welcome. Our room was on the front over looking the road and so was a bit noisy at night. And the bed was a bit small. The bathroom was fine. We booked half board which may have been a mistake as the fixed menu food was very disappointing. Our whole stay was very good value but maybe the a la carte menu would have been a better option.

07/09/2024: A very warm welcome, comfortable rooms, fantastic food. Very accommodating for us and our baby, who really enjoyed tasting the gazpacho and foie gras! We would definitely recommend staying here whether en route to else where or not.

17/08/2024: Finally a really good bakery! Having arrived 6 weeks ago, after numerous tests, we have difficulty finding bread that is not literally white. The bread (wheel and seeded baguette 👍) is good and cooked correctly, the cakes are good and clearly homemade (religious and chocolate caramel tart). The service is very cordial! We found our base for good products! And parking is very easy around. THANKS !

08/08/2024: Sandwich at €3.90 (for this price it is a small size compared to competitors) The bread is correct but the slice of white ham is ultra thin and extremely salty (certainly from plastic and low quality) Very disappointing

15/12/2024: Este es un bistrot encantador para tener una comida sabrosa con amigos, con productos de gran calidad y un montón de clásicos franceses en oferta. El ambiente es acogedor y el servicio amable. Hemos disfrutado de un tierno filete de bavette cortado con patata y ensalada, o más recientemente un Mont D’or con salchicha Morteau y ambos platos estaban absolutamente deliciosos. Intentaría salvaguardar el espacio para el desierto porque su ‘café gourmand’ es morir por él. O puedes optar por el Tarta Tatin, que se ofrece como una porción generosa. Hay muchos lugareños en este bistró, lo que siempre es una buena señal porque los franceses no tolerarían comida de mala calidad, por lo que puede ir allí sin dudarlo. También diría que al contrario de las reseñas anteriores que acabo de leer, son muy acogedoras con los extranjeros, siempre y cuando hagas el esfuerzo de decir ‘bonjour!’ cuando entres y ‘merci’ cuando te sirvan tus platos. Esa es la mínima cortesía básica en Francia. Mi partido británico y yo nunca hemos tenido una mala experiencia aquí, y recomiendo encarecidamente este Bistro.

10/11/2024: Parfait pour une se réfugier du vent car cet établissement sert de bons chocolats chauds et possède un bon choix de mets sucrés ! Ambiance très sympathique grâce au jukebox au milieu de la pièce, personnel sympathique je recommande ! ☕️

26/01/2025: Superb meat, small downside on the dessert. The part of galette des rois had the missing part (only the puff pastry and a good cm of frangipane missing), and despite having told the waitress no replacement was offered A bit of a shame...

08/01/2025: Absolute rubbish. The store is closed, no explanation or information on Google. Don’t use it for delivery!

13/12/2024: We stayed at this hotel as a couple and arrived late. The restaurant is permanently closed and only serves microwave meals. The disabled room is very far from the entrance. All quite mediocre. A plus is the extremely friendly staff who are extremely helpful. The lady behind the reception desk was especially friendly and professional.

23/11/2024: Well located and easy to access Clean and very quiet establishment Hearty continental breakfast with many organic products. Scrambled eggs and grilled bacon are really killer 🤪

07/02/2024: Les Platanes roadside restaurant in Beauce France.... With large parking 🅿️ for trucks 🚛 everything is very well organized...... Good food... The restaurant is small but it is good... very good service from the waitress..... I recommend it..... if I am passing through we will return.... Danke schoen.....
