12/10/2026: Ordinary cuisine lacking in creativity; we weren't used to that.

11/10/2026: A lovely place where I received a very warm welcome, courteous and kind. I had a very good dinner; I chose a simple dish, a ribeye steak with fries, but everything was well-prepared and of good quality. The glass of wine was well-poured and an excellent vintage. I was just passing through Blois, but I have wonderful memories of my visit thanks to this lovely stop at this restaurant, which offers excellent value for money. I highly recommend it.

27/10/2026: A magnificent gastronomic experience at Le Rendez-vous des Pêcheurs in Blois! A meal as delicious as it was refined, where each dish was a true delight for the eyes and the palate. The presentation was meticulous, the flavor combinations original and perfectly executed. One could sense a genuine culinary exploration and the pleasure of offering high-quality cuisine. We began with a delicate sweet potato and vegetable velouté, accompanied by a mussel mousse—a truly refined starter. Then came magnificent scallops enhanced by an artichoke emulsion, a leek gratin, and herb bread: a beautiful harmony of textures and flavors. The pike-perch fillet was equally remarkable, accompanied by a chestnut emulsion, crispy cauliflower, caramelized pears, and grilled romaine lettuce with curry. Bold and indulgent combinations, perfectly balanced, that demonstrate true creativity. All accompanied by a very pleasant Sauvignon Blanc, which paired perfectly with the dishes. To finish, a delicious homemade mille-feuille with Bourbon vanilla, served with an apricot coulis: a gourmet and elegant final touch to conclude this wonderful meal. Inventive cuisine, beautifully presented ingredients, and dishes as beautiful as they are delicious: a truly wonderful gastronomic discovery! An address I highly recommend to lovers of fine cuisine. Bravo to Chef Christophe for this delightful experience!
