21/09/2024: A little hard to find when relying on a car--Google Maps didn't understand that it was on a different level in the city. We ended up figuring it out by parking down in the square below and walking up the stairs. The stairs are plentiful and steep but there's a railing and a bench halfway up. (Our parents needed this help.) But then we got to this charming little restaurant and got to sit on their beautiful terrace that overlooked the city and river below. The food was worth the treasure hunt! Although we've been loving the French fare, we were ready for a little something different and this delectable Italian cuisine fit the bill.

11/09/2024: This restaurant specialises in beef but has other dishes on the menu. It only does a la carte and the prices are not cheap. I chose Boeuf Bourguinon. The meat was chewy and there was not enough sauce. Could have done with a few more carrots too. My husband had the Volaille Grandmere which was lumps of bland chicken breast in a bland watery sauce, served with rice . Very disappointing. We had a half litre of a local red wine which, again, was very disappointing. We won't be going again.

We came to eat last Saturday, a delight.
Crepes to die for, whether for the main course or for dessert. Such an adorable waitress, smiling and full of pep!

17/09/2024: Excellent welcome, homemade dishes, small choice but great quality. Dessert also very good. The semi-cooked chocolate 🍫 is incredible 😍
06/09/2024: Small room, family atmosphere, home-cooked meal. Royal sea bream fillet in virgin sauce: perfectly cooked and sufficient quantity.
Petit mi cooked with chocolate for dessert which is really a mi cooked!
We recommend!!
Attention, toilet not adapted because old building.

26/08/2024: Very warm welcome, refined and delicious cuisine with a play on tastes and an interesting texture! Daring and delicious weddings!
The service is very fast and pleasant. Responsive and smiling staff!
The 2nd room is nicer than the first. Having a view of the kitchen with the swing door is not very pleasant, and we share our conversations with those of the neighbors because the tables are close.
Thank you for this great culinary experience
15/08/2024: a place worth the detour!! Go find this pretty little restaurant, with a chef who knows how to cook dishes with original flavors with great originality. The card may seem thin, and the prices slightly high, but the value for money is more than interesting. Other nearby restaurants at the same price don't do as well! An address not to be missed!! (We tested the 2 menus in 1 week and our taste buds still remember them.

17/08/2024: Great Portuguese restaurant. Top service and great homemade dishes. All you can eat buffet. Great value for money. And the service is excellent. A dish that changes every day with cod on Fridays. Fatima always smiling.

03/09/2024: Very nice but do not know how to cook the marine mussels which arrive half cooked, some even raw. Hence a lot of losses. Also some mussels so small that they are inedible!! The sauce was good. Good fries and ice cream.
02/09/2024: Restaurant very well located at the foot of the castle and not too expensive. I had a croque-monsieur, fried salad for €9.90, very good. My husband enjoyed a very good Roquefort mussels and fries too. We were served very quickly.
The toilets are clean.
The only downside was the salted butter caramel crepe, not salty enough for my taste.

08/09/2024: Not cool, during our stay, we want to take advantage of one last moment to drink a coffee on the terrace, the manager, a man of a certain age, comes and goes and after 30 minutes no hello from him, not friendly, turns away customers to say that the tables are reserved for eating, so we left and had a coffee at SOAN, fast service, friendly finally thanks to the waitress at SOAN
