Thank you for being here ! Patricia Small coffees or hot chocolate almost daily. Sometimes the dish of the day is always excellent. But ABOVE ALL, great kindness from the owners in an original, clean and warm decor. A small corner reserved for the sale of cigarettes, good wines and some regional products. And the icing on the cake: a half-shaded, half-sunny terrace at the top of the Denis Papin steps overlooking the roofs of the old town, and in the background the castle, in the historic district of Blois. Good choice of varied beers to enjoy on the terrace in fine weather. Patricia and Patrice.

02/10/2025: Interesting vantage point, under a spreading tree. Jovial, tolerant staff who were happy to indulge my speaking French. Excellent local IPA with an IBU of 65! No comment on the food as we did not eat there, but plenty of others did.

04/12/2025: It was very good, the young waitress was lovely, just the kitchen I think was a bit overwhelmed so it was a bit long, some dishes were a bit lukewarm, dessert a bit disappointing.

16/11/2025: Tourist trap serving industrial lasagne, cockroaches in the establishment, just great!

29/10/2025: First change of ownership, homemade daily menu (like all the dishes), excellent atmosphere, friendly service, €14 for the daily special. Don't miss it!

12/11/2025: We are disappointed with the afternoon opening hours; 3 pm is not teatime! Previously, we could enjoy delicious hot chocolates until early evening. It's a shame, because this place is very pleasant and welcoming, and there aren't many like it in downtown Blois. Would it be possible to reconsider your opening hours? Thank you very much.

28/02/2026: A very disappointing experience. From the appetizer to the dessert, the quality was lacking. The dishes were bland and poorly prepared. The value for money is clearly insufficient.

26/02/2026: The atmosphere and decor are great, the service is top-notch... A good time spent here, it's good and varied even if there is still significant room for improvement in the cuisine and the quality of the dishes.

12/03/2026: I recommend this place; the welcome is warm and the chocolates are tempting. It's a shame the prices are high, as the demand for chocolate is high. I recommend it for its pastries, which are excellent, including the chocolates.

20/01/2026: Just by visiting the tobacco/press/games area, in a spacious and clean environment, I found the service very friendly.

16/12/2025: Overall, it was okay. No complaints about the food, simple but effective. Only downside: be careful with the drink prices 🫣 I didn't check, naively thinking they were standard prices €5.40 for a basic 25cl draft white beer 😭🤐

12/12/2025: Really disappointed. The fish smelled too much like it had been frozen and was too dry. The tagliatelle was barely warm, probably reheated but not enough. The desserts were barely defrosted or at least had been left in the fridge for far too long. In short, too expensive for the quality. Avoid this place.
