12/03/2026: An exceptional bakery! A warm welcome and generous portions of high-quality products. The ingredients are local, and the breads (sourdough, of course) are magnificent. The hazelnut and cider bread is to die for. The croissants don't feel like they're just air; they have a real chew. This bakery deserves to be featured on "The Best Bakery in France." Our only regret: we don't live in Cherbourg...

24/02/2026: We ate at this restaurant for Valentine's Day and felt the same way as a previous reviewer: The meal was good but not worth the price at all...no amuse-bouche with the aperitif, the tables are very close together, no privacy whatsoever, and you can hear your neighbor's conversation like in a brasserie! There was absolutely no decoration for Valentine's Day; we were hoping for at least a small candle or a flower on the table, but there was nothing. And to top it all off, the chef started yelling in the kitchen during service, which created a very awkward atmosphere in the dining room! The only positive point was the two very kind and professional waiters. Having tried a different restaurant for Valentine's Day every year, we won't be returning to this one.

08/03/2026: How can anyone understand having to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes for their order? Why allow more customers in when the wait is already so long? The owner's response: I'm just trying to increase the number of customers to compensate for the slower days, at the expense of service... No comment.

10/10/2025: Perfectly cooked, tender, and flavorful salmon, served with a creamy mushroom sauce and delicately sliced ​​leeks. Perfect flavors, a beautiful presentation, and a bright setting overlooking the harbor.

27/09/2025: Unpleasant waitress, fish overcooked, leeks hanging on the plate, very little wine on the menu, less and less good and we went there several times, we are locals!!

22/02/2026: Breathtaking view of the harbor. Warm welcome and refined cuisine. The signature dish is a feast for the eyes and the palate (a delicious vegetable terrine in aspic). For dessert, the revisited tarte tatin is simply divine. The beautifully presented "café gourmand" (gourmet coffee) offers generous and excellent portions. A very good place that we gladly return to during our visits to Cherbourg.

17/02/2026: A wonderful discovery. Perfect welcome. Generous and high-quality dishes...everything was perfect. Excellent value for money. Beautiful view of the harbor, tasteful decor. I highly recommend it.

03/03/2026: A pleasant atmosphere with a view of the harbor, where you can eat at any time. The rump steak was cooked perfectly. A minor drawback was the fries and the sauce... The crepe was excellent! Overall, I had a lovely time.

24/02/2026: We unfortunately dropped off our CVs during our lunch break, and the reception was condescending and discourteous. A simple "no thank you" would have sufficed; there was no need to be so condescending.
