14/08/2026: Unplanned lunch before visiting the castle. Really not great... Both the service and the quality and presentation of the food were poor.

06/07/2026: What a lovely find! We stopped in on our way back to the UK from Le Mans. The choice of starter buffet was good, and tasty. My steak and chips main was cooked perfectly, and my family's chicken salad was very tasty. The outside seating area was well shaded from the blazing sun. The whole restaurant was well presented and if I'm travelling to or from Le Mans again I will definitely stop in to refuel. Thank you so much for having us!

28/08/2026: First time trying this concept. Disappointed. What's the point of ordering with an easel if you're just going to walk to the counter and wait in a long line for your order? I don't get the concept! Anyway, after waiting 10 minutes in the dining area, I realized I had to go to the counter myself. 🤣🤯 Otherwise, the burger was good. That's a plus. It's also a shame there was no staff in the dining area, for example, to clean the tables! This restaurant is strange.

21/08/2026: Hello, I really like the atmosphere and the way it's organized, with the option of ordering from the kiosk or at the counter when you're unfamiliar with the place or in a hurry! Seeing the open kitchen is great!! The food tastes good!! The sauce, the quality of the meat, and the salad... tomato... are all good. And the best part is the pastry selection!! And the choice between the terrace and inside is fantastic!!

29/04/2026: Clean shower, great welcome, nothing to complain about, very good food. The waitress always had a smile, large parking lot, great restaurant.

18/07/2026: Strange, even though the village was on TV, and it's Saturday, there are lots of people, the weather's nice, we could be enjoying the terrace in this peaceful corner... But it's closed! What a shame!

13/07/2026: Order errors, overpriced for the quantity and quality, extremely slow service, one of the waitresses ended up in tears after being repeatedly reprimanded by the manager. In short, it was not a pleasant experience for anyone; the only positive point was the pleasant setting.

26/07/2026: A very nice, small restaurant with excellent quality food. Friendly service and a varied menu offering galettes, pizzas, and meat and fish dishes. All the dishes we ordered looked great and, most importantly, were very tasty. Good value for money.

21/08/2026: Friendly welcome, starter just about OK, main course of pork was not edible, never before had anything so tough. Did not pay for main course, will not be visiting again.

21/08/2026: Bad experience We ordered the set menus Very disappointed Starter: charcuterie, cooked ham, and 3 slices of sausage Pork chop: dry and burnt Frozen supermarket hamburger, frozen fries Chocolate mousse: not fresh Camembert cheese: not fresh Rosé wine: tasteless No apology from the owners after returning the dish All this for 77 euros For nothing good Knowing that Mayenne has some very good local produce You just have to cook it properly That's all I had to say Now I'm digesting

06/07/2026: The food is too simple. The salmon terrine from Thiol or elsewhere isn't great, too processed. The salad leaf in each dish is a bit outdated. It's a shame because the terrace is lovely and the setting is pleasant. It just deserves an effort in presentation and a more limited, but homemade, menu.

19/08/2026: The place seemed peaceful, the welcome a bit cold, but with all the positive reviews, we figured it must be worth its weight in gold... and then it all went downhill... Arriving first, we were served quickly (aperitif before the galette, but didn't even have time to finish it)... There were six of us in the restaurant, and it was complete chaos... A beer spilled on the floor right from the start of service, and not even a mop afterward... The galettes were tasteless, except for the flavor of defrosting water... We had to wait for the waiter to come back so we could order a crepe for dessert, but no one ever came to see us... Our neighbors at the next table ordered their galettes but were still deciding on their drinks (10 seconds of deliberation) and got their galettes before their aperitifs, what a shame... A couple and their son ordered three Savoyard galettes, "Oh sorry, we can't make three, we don't have enough," even though it was just Three of those galettes were served that evening... in short, a real kitchen nightmare, worthy of the name... not to mention the very dirty apron... I would have loved to adore you, you seem very nice, but I can't let people say you're beyond reproach... a serious reassessment is necessary, perhaps even retirement

24/12/2025: We stayed for a Christmas market weekend. The hotel is very well located, barely a 10-minute walk from the center. There are a few parking spaces in the small streets surrounding the hotel. The room was small, but sufficient for one night. However, the bedding was very soft and the walls were thin. The breakfast room is tiny, but the buffet was well-stocked.

25/08/2026: I came last night with two friends. We ordered a platter, and I was very disappointed. It was nothing like the one my husband and I used to order regularly. There was no small dressed salad; it was ridiculous. It's a shame, I loved your platters. Sincerely

12/08/2026: Overpriced bar, unfriendly staff. We asked for a large glass of water in the sweltering heat and were served a tiny glass of lukewarm water. Avoid at all costs. Shameful.

02/07/2026: Visited today at 3:30 PM for tobacco. The young waiter with glasses, or the owner, it doesn't matter... was sulking, unfriendly, no smile, no hello, no please, no thank you, and no goodbye. Just a "Sir" to ask what I wanted, and a "26 euros" as he handed me the card terminal to take payment... After waiting 10 minutes for him to clear his tables, even though he saw me and the person behind me waiting. Tobacco shop or restaurant, he should choose one and stick to just one business because, clearly, doing both at the same time is a major inconvenience for this "so-called shopkeeper"...
