23/11/2024: Carte plus que raccourcie avec des manquant en plus, reste 2 choix. Les moules (spécialité du lieu )supprimées de la carte à Pénestin !! Nous avons pris une autre spécialité locale (sic) le fish and ships, bien sûr 2 surgelés associés mais un peu de salade. Bref un encas bien cher, sans doute prévu pour la foule de l'été, mais en novembre chercher.......mais les autres , sauf le gastro complet ce jour, fermés pour vacances.

17/08/2024: Back here after around a year or so. Same staff, friendly welcome as before. Three had fish and chips, myself the burger and chips. All very good, decent quality and plentiful. Couple of us had desserts, cheesecake and a chocolate type mouse, finished with coffees. Excellent draught Guinness served too. A really enjoyable evening.

23/09/2024: A warm welcome from the owner, efficient service, well presented plates and dishes, a good atmosphere and a pretty decor. Lots of people at the end of September, but it must be said that the place is worth it. Fairly wide choice of fish. Pink shrimp, Lotte gratin and Liégeois chocolate were on my menu today. A treat with Lotte. Thanks to Huguette Kergosien from l'Hippocampe, for this beautiful brasserie address in La Trinité. Absolutely worth discovering!

26/09/2024: Daily menu good value for money 14th we can't find it anymore!! For the rest friendly service fortunately the lady saves the day as well as the cook... The gentleman in the cap who received us should avoid making unpleasant comments, customers are not deaf... He almost took the plate away from our neighbor who was spoiling his plate, telling him you took the formula...what a lack of professionalism the room was filling up. Monsieur was in full stress, a shame to remain with this impression

27/08/2024: Very well maintained hotel, the rooms are clean and the decoration is recent, there is always a lack of space in the rooms of 3 but the small room with a bed is very nice. Hearty breakfast and very good restaurant. The location of the hotel is splendid but noisy between the port and the bars if you like peace and quiet this is not necessarily what you will find here but the rest is perfect!

21/09/2024: A brilliant welcome worthy of Robert Surcouf himself. The boss also has a real Corsair's face and knows how to serve you a good Américano with slices of sausage (which would have been to Jacques Chirac's taste). As for the fish (a Sea Bream caught this morning in Locmariaquer and cooked in the oven), it was a real marvel of freshness and flavor, especially with this Mango white butter and roasted vegetables. When you leave the table, you can't pretend to still be hungry. Absolutely worth discovering!

05/09/2024: Bu un verre l am , petit futé depuis 2016 , mais là , odeur de chats ( compter 3) et de chien , en fin de vie la pauvre bête, les baies vitrées tres sales , le pompon , les toilettes inondées d urine au sol , la lunette pas mieux , la dame devant moi y a fait un aller mais est ressortie de suite , nous ne mangerons certainement pas ici La patronne un peu sèche, Dommage , restaurant /bar idéalement bien placé L inspecteur du petit futé doit etre de la famille sinon a re contrôler

24/08/2024: Oups .. quand on ne sait pas faire les pizzas.. on ne les met pas à la carte ; surtout à ce prix là : pâte ultra fine desséchée de congélation, coulis euh non, pas coulis de tomate : tomate concentrée acide, pour cacher la misère : 3 morceaux de tomate fraîche posés à l'arrache...juste l'impression de m'être fait arnaquer.

03/08/2025: Seven of us went. The dishes were too greasy, and some were undercooked. The service was consistently forgetful, and then a manager forced the bill to be split to suit him.

16/09/2024: Not recommended. For anything and everything, the waitress, who tried very hard not to make eye contact, had to be called. A tapas platter was ordered as an entrée and served together with the main course, which left the dish cold during consumption!!!! The burgers between 17 and 19 euros were bland and prepared well done without asking. Except for the location right on the marina, the whole thing was a failure with 2 non-alcoholic cocktails and soft drinks for just under 80 euros.

05/09/2024: Repas en famille (7 personnes) en soirée en semaine. Bon accueil. Qualité correcte. Par contre, un peu radin sur le confort : installer trois adultes sur une petite table alors que le resto avait de la place... C'est limite.

07/12/2025: Family dinner on a rather quiet Saturday evening. Very friendly welcome and very classy setting/decor. The €35 set menu was varied and excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend this restaurant in Port-Louis!

06/12/2025: Delicious, refined, sophisticated, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the wine selection. The panoramic view of the river mouth is magnificent. It's perfect, don't hesitate.
