I bought violet sencha green tea which is superbly balanced, very aromatic and good hot or cold!

04/04/2024: How to summarize....a drink served without a glass, a requested glass arrived 15 minutes later...dishes served without cutlery and without a napkin...a portion of fries ordered around 7 p.m....and never served (even after our complaint )...until we leave at 8:20 p.m....
Servers in the west...
In short, even if we don't expect much in terms of food when coming to this type of brasserie, we can at least hope for quality and friendly service... which was not really the case! Damage !

12/05/2024: 2 visits in 2 days, very nice discovery! Saturday July 22: goyère in the square of the face.
Sunday July 23: the old lady's favorite! My husband ate the shrimp croquettes 🍤.
For me who likes to eat very hot, a pleasure to eat steaming dishes.
Typical place, quality service, reasonable prices.
Result: satisfied Belgian customers! Thanks to the staff.

12/05/2024: Passing through Lille. Dinner as a couple. Perfectly cooked fish, excellent tartar sauce and fries. Excellent burger… creamy tiramisu at the top. we will come back 3x! responsive and friendly staff.
10/05/2024: Excellent value. The menu is varied and the dishes are sought after (I recommend the toasts).

09/05/2024: A group of 12 of us descended upon this place early evening on Wednesday 8th May. They checked they could accommodate us and initially seated us at two 6 seater tables towards the back but as soon as a 12 seater became available they moved us.
The orders were taken, complimentary crisps provided and we settled in.
Our drinks arrived promptly and the food arrived, pretty much all at the same time about 10 minutes later.
I went for the Steakhouse Burger in a black bread bun as the picture shows. They cobbled up a vegan burger for a friend and another had a burger in a brioche bun. One person had the fish. The rest went for various steaks.
My burger was very nice, essentially a cheese and bacon burger. The other burgersxand fish went down well.
Pretty quickly on it became clear that the steaks, especially the sirloins, were well below expectation and were put to the side.
This was brought to the attention of the staff and fair play to them they reduced the bill significantly.
Overall, this is a high volume, medium priced, through trade, steak restaurant right in the tourist centre of Lille where the Eurostar from Brussels and London stops so it will get a lot of tourist trade. Accordingly it's not a top end, limited customer, steak speciality, restaurant and you should adjust your expectations accordingly.
That said the steaks were below the standard expected of an equivalent Aberdeen Steak House you would find in London's West End at a similar price point.
Beyond that the staff were very busy but looked after us brilliantly.

06/04/2024: Car looted and smashed in the restaurant parking lot. We are well aware that the restaurant is not responsible but a little more empathy from the manager would have been welcome
05/04/2024: We come to every karaoke and it’s always perfect. But today in my Cajun salad the croutons were not crispy, cooked too far in advance and therefore very soft.
