A word of advice: book in advance as it's very popular, and the football stadium and Louvre-Lens museum are just a 5-minute walk away! I highly recommend it if you

18/01/2026: We had lunch at this little bistro with my association between visits to the Louvre-Lens (which is really close by). Personally, I really enjoyed the friendly and cheerful atmosphere of the restaurant, and of course, the perfectly cooked carbonnade and fries. The service was excellent; the group was surprised to be greeted and served at the beginning by a young man who looked every bit the part of a future waiter! Keep up the good work! There's a good chance we'll be back!

05/01/2026: I celebrated my birthday at Le Coquelicot restaurant during a private party, and everything was perfect. The staff was incredibly welcoming and very pleasant throughout the evening. The food was truly delicious, and we had a wonderful time. A fantastic experience that I highly recommend!

A special mention to the gentleman at the bar who reserved a table for us on match night. He's so friendly, welcoming, and warm—thank you! We'll definitely be back! 23/11/2025: I've been a regular customer of this establishment for six months, but for the past two weeks I've been checking who's serving before going in because, unfortunately, there's only one waitress behind the counter, and she's completely unsuited to the job. I go elsewhere when she's there. No smile, an unwavering coldness, and no customer service whatsoever—a robot would be warmer. Madam, this profession is not for you. Thank you to Anne-Sophie and Soso for their exceptional kindness and professionalism.

25/01/2026: During a visit to the Le Galibot bar-restaurant in Lens, I was quite disappointed by the quality of the waffles, which frankly left much to be desired. They were completely uninteresting. It's a shame, because the setting is pleasant, but the culinary experience simply wasn't up to par this time.
