16/06/2026: A perfect 10 experience. The service was excellent: all the waiters were very friendly, attentive, and pleasant at all times. We also enjoyed a terrace with incredible views, and a highlight was that they allow dogs, which we greatly appreciated as we could eat with our dog.
For our main course, we ordered calamari with tartar sauce, which was spectacular. For our second course, we had a fish dish with vegetables, egg, and cheese, and grilled beef with potatoes and salad; both were delicious and beautifully presented. To finish, we had two scoops of ice cream, which were fantastic.
In total, the meal for two people with two IPA beers came to €67, which we found to be excellent value for money considering the quality of the food, the ambiance, and the service.
Without a doubt, a highly recommended place that we will definitely return to.

13/06/2026: Beautiful town . Luis is the most wonderful host. Cakes were fantastic so was he.
15/05/2026: I entered this establishment and said "hello" and was greeted with a rather sharp "WHAT" from a seemingly angry French man from behind the bar. As I didn't reply (momentarily stunned) he followed on with a "WHAT DO YOU WANT". 1st, I asked whether hot chocolate was on the menu. 2nd, I asked why he felt the need to shout at me. He replied that he was like that !!!! Basil Faulty rides again is all I can say. The hot chocolate was average. Service was shocking. I rated the establishment 1 star because -10 wasn't an option. Pilgrims be careful.

12/12/2025: Atypical hotel, very friendly staff, magnificent location, beautiful view and the perfect room on the top floor, large comfortable bed, air-conditioned room and above all clean with air conditioning.

12/07/2026: Excellent place! Everything home made with what seems to be genuine care for how the dishes are made and served. I think the owner must really be in the mood to serve good food to their customers. Wonderful Basque vibe, absolutely loved it!

21/06/2026: A place that, at first glance, makes you want to stop and have some tapas. Big mistake!! Unpleasant owner, cold welcome. Right after we ordered, he told people who wanted to eat, "It'll be in fifteen minutes," making it very clear we had to leave... tablecloths folded, music turned off... no bread, no carafe of water.
We ordered a mixed platter that was thrown together haphazardly....
In short... avoid it, even though the location is obviously very favorable to them without any effort during the tourist season!!
One positive point: very clean toilets.
16/06/2026: We are extremely disappointed. A year and a half ago, the mixed cheese and ham platter was three times the size for the same price. A 0.5l beer costs €7.50. We knew from previous visits that the owner was grumpy, but today he commented on the clearing of the tables with a disgruntled "allez."
Thank you so much for the exceptionally friendly service. We hope we never see you again.

04/06/2024: No me extraña nada que esté cerrado. Nunca he recibido un trato con tan mala educación como en este sitio. Es una gran pena porque es un sitio céntrico y bonito que invita a entrar.
31/05/2024: Desgraciadamente no puedo opinar sobre la comida porque pedí una simple cerveza y me echaron de malas formas diciendo que era la hora de comer. Nunca me he encontrado con Semejante trato despreciativo

08/09/2024: Très bon repas malgré l'attente mais il faut dire qu'elles n'étaient que deux pour le service et que le resto était plein ainsi que la terrasse.
Nous avons été très bien servis

A noter l'amabilité joyeuse et discrète des serveurs

Les mets sont excellents, une créativité remarquable.

26/07/2024: Je ne comprends pas certains avis, resto rapide de qualité et pas cher, accueil très sympa, emplacement parfait, fréquenté par les locaux, ce qui est bon signe, on y reviendra aussi pour boire un verre en terrasse !
11/07/2024: Accueil désagréable, boisson chaude, pas de cartes donc pas de possibilité de savoir les prix des boissons. En bref un lieu à éviter de toute urgence.
