19/08/2024: We had booked 3 days before and when we arrived with my friends, they said we never booked, that's honestly disrespectful.

19/08/2024: Reservation for 1:15 p.m..... arrived at the restaurant with an unreserved table, we were told after 30 minutes to sit on an uncleared table only to hear us say: we won't serve you.... Shame! Never seen that! Flee this restaurant

20/05/2024: C était affreux car, j ai commandé un steak frite j ai eu un burger plus petit qu’un pain et une énorme quantité de frite donc je ne conseil surtout pas le steak et le restaurant

26/08/2024: Every time I pass through Montceau-les-Mines, it is always with great pleasure that I come to stay at Lucy’s hotel restaurant. The welcome is warm. Each room has its own atmosphere and pretty personalized decoration. I appreciate its large closed parking lot. Family and friendly atmosphere. Regional dishes, cuisine like at home.

18/10/2024: Om 13.25 uur, laat voor de lunch aangekomen. Keuken was gesloten en ons werd herhaaldelijk en op niet erg vriendelijke wijze verteld dat in Frankrijk de lunch tot 13.30 uur is. Eerste andere restaurant waar we aankwamen werden we zeer gastvrij ontvangen terwijl het inmiddels 13.40 uur was. Daar hebben we heel leuk en lekker gegeten.

26/06/2024: Restaurant facile à trouver juste à côté du parking de la place presque toujours un place à trouver ou ce garer. Serveuse convivial et très professionnelle repas copieu, et savoureux, service rapide.

01/08/2024: Cadre agréable au bord de la Grosne. Accueil chaleureux, personnel réactif et professionnel. Repas excellent et conseil avisé de la propriétaire pour le vin. Des plats travaillés et délicieux. La terrasse avec sa glycine doit être agréable quand il fait moins chaud. Tout était parfait, merci.

11/06/2024: Ein ganz ausgezeichnetes Restaurant. Wir hatten ein 3 Gänge Menü. Die Speisen waren großartig und wurden durch zwei Grüße des Hauses komplettiert. Vorspeise: Sülze vom Hasen, Hauptspeise: Ente, Dessert: Schokokugel gefüllt mit Eis und frischen Früchten. Auf die Kugel wurde vom Kellner dann heiße Schokolade gegossen und die Kugel schmolz und gab den Blick auf das Eis und die Früchte frei - Sensationell! Das Ambiente ist sehr schön mit Aussicht auf den kleinen Fluß durch Cluny. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Menü hat nur 40 Euro gekostet. Im Rheinland zahlt man für diese Qualität das doppelte. Also: Große Empfehlung und einen Umweg wert!

18/06/2024: Geweldige lunch! Vriendelijke, efficiënte bediening. Fijne sfeer. Lekker ongedwongen. Groot aantal tafeltjes binnen en buiten (schaduw), vast menu voor 16 euro, inclusief wijn, kaas en koffie. Maar wees op tijd: de locals weten het restaurant goed te vinden. En terecht!

03/09/2024: If you are looking for a wedding location that will make you feel like you live in your favorite romance novel: you found it. ♥️ Rénche & Geert made sure to help us as much as they could with the planning of our wedding weekend. A BBQ on the arrival day, a pizza party, the wedding day & a Farewell Brunch? No problem! You have so many different options and locations to choose from, I think you could fill a week full of events and could still find a new area on the stunning grounds of this chateau. ☀️ All of the providers we worked with were really, really professional and the food was delicious every single day. Rénche also offers to help with the wedding design & planning for a very fair fee & I would highly recommend to book this service to any couple. She knows this castle by heart and has a lot of experience with the providers so she can solve a lot of problems before they even occur. 🍀 We planned our wedding with around 80 people. If you choose a bigger group just be aware that you will need a small tent to add to the dining area so everyone can fit or you can just eat outside in front of the castle if the weather allows it (but don’t forget that this region is known for it’s weather changes so I would also recommend to always plan with a tent - worst case you can use it for some extra shade ☺️☝🏼). The rooms in the castle are well looked after and Rénche & Geert work very hard on renovating the castle more & more each year which is an impressive amount of work. The bathrooms are not in the rooms but they are super nicely organized so everyone can still have their privacy when taking a shower (but you might recommend your guests to bring a pyjama or a bathrobe 😂☝🏼). Anyways, long story short: we loved our wedding so, so much & we wouldn’t have wanted to celebrate it anywhere else. ♥️
