16/03/2026: We went to eat at this restaurant on Monday at lunchtime, the three of us. The manager is friendly and very professional. The chef caters to vegetarians (I was even given a special menu just for me), which I really appreciated. Everything was delicious, from the appetizer to the dessert. Homemade with fresh ingredients, and it shows. The lemon cake is divine. I highly recommend this restaurant.

15/08/2024: Not to be missed quality products the rump steak is divine good advice on wine and homemade desserts to die for excellent food value for money nothing to complain about well done the image of good French eating ❤️

11/08/2024: View here is the USP. Dishes are quite good, but haven't changed in years. We have been coming to the area off and on for over 20 years, but unfortunately we have never seen a major change. There is quality, but little imagination. As mentioned above, we like to come for the view of the valley.

15/09/2024: It's a moment of sharing in rural areas bordering the countryside. Lots of employees from the Mesvrien basin like to have lunch there

24/04/2026: A very warm welcome at the restaurant. Refined cuisine with excellent dishes. Beautiful presentation. Everything was excellent. We will return to eat at the restaurant during our next stay in Mâcon.

26/11/2025: Dinner Sweetbreads with cream and pistachio—far too much pistachio. Terrine and mixed vegetable salad—too much raw garlic and the green olives were very bitter. Chicken ballotine with black trumpet mushrooms—one ballotine with the white stuffing had very few mushrooms, and the other with the black stuffing had far too many mushrooms and the risotto was crunchy. A meal not worthy of a Mercure hotel. On the other hand, a very warm welcome at reception; we will definitely stay here again, also for the location, the peace and quiet, and the view of the Saône.

11/09/2024: unpleasant boss criticizes her employees to avoid absolutely yet great cook and waitress but bad boss never go to work there and hygiene level we will come back terrace set up after lunch service not change for the evening table of the 3 rooms all set and not change also already a waitress and a party dishwasher because of the boss what to ask questions

05/09/2024: We're not going to choke on the portions or the speed of the service... You can tell the people are nice, the waitress is trying her best, but the service is incredibly slow. (Due to the kitchen?) - "Beefsteak tomato" appetizer: I ended up with a tomato soup that didn't even fill four tablespoons. How am I supposed to believe it was beefsteak tomato? Not to mention the presentation. - Steak tartare main course: Well prepared, but the side dish, a sort of potato dumpling, was woefully inadequate. I ended up eating more than half the dish without any accompaniments. - Bread: Reheated or defrosted. After 15 minutes in the bread basket, it was hard once it had cooled down. Cooking is good, but serving the right portions is better.
