While passing through La Flèche, we stumbled upon the fabulous Frenchies Burgers.
It's a real treat, even the vegetarian option. The fresh, local ingredients truly make all the difference, and you'll always be greeted by a super friendly team.
15/05/2026: We ate at this lovely little restaurant. The burgers were excellent, made with incredibly fresh and delicious local ingredients. A real treat for the taste buds!
And to top it all off, the fries are homemade!
I highly recommend this place.

21/04/2026: We had lunch there yesterday. The food was excellent, and the atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended. The restaurant was full, but we could still chat comfortably. It was well soundproofed.

10/02/2026: We contacted this establishment to host a reception after a funeral and then had lunch with the family there. We only had four days' notice, but they went above and beyond to secure the town hall for the reception and even arranged a second seating in the restaurant for the family lunch. The food and presentation were superb, the staff very pleasant, a wonderful discovery. Highly recommended.

The meat and foie gras were very good and plentiful.
However, the bread served with the foie gras was a major disappointment; it was really quite bad, rubbery, and didn't seem very fresh.
I sincerely hope this is addressed, as it detracts from the overall quality of the dish.

The welcome was minimal, the aperitif was barely served before the main courses arrived, the wine was delayed, and I was very disappointed with the meat in terms of quality, quantity, and cooking. I was also disappointed with the desserts, which were tasteless and very cold, perhaps frozen? Very poor value for money. There were very few people there; was that a sign?
09/05/2026: Honestly, nothing to complain about, the manager is incredibly kind, as are the waitresses. The welcome and service were top-notch, not to mention the chef!
We promise to be back for the next Le Mans Grand Prix! The Charente locals ☺️

We highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Sablé-sur-Sarthe.
06/06/2026: The pizzas (takeaway) are clearly too small for the price (junior size for €15 on average). The toppings are fresh and high quality. The crust is very basic, nothing special. Long wait times due to its popularity.

24/05/2026: Mediocre meal. We ordered a ribeye steak which was nothing but fat. We complained, but were still allowed to stay, with no follow-up. Disappointed. I do not recommend it.
