04/06/2026: After the renovations, it's magnificent! Well done!

18/05/2026: Avoid at all costs! I was a returning guest for a couple of years because I came once a month for business in the region. Please note this is written in the past sense. The hotel offered my a couple of years ago the following arrangement (Also note: they proposed this themselves!): they'd call me each month to see if I'd come: yes or no. In all these years, I maybe once didn't come and warned them about that. Otherwise, I always stayed here. A couple of months ago they forgot my reservation. Well, shit happens and I didn't make a fuss about it. Tonight this unfortunately happened for the second time. The lady at the desk tried to put the blame in my shoes, only gave a half hearted excuse and offered no solution at all for a regular guest. This is not the way to deal with loyal guest. I've always been polite and kind with the staff, always took dinner in their restaurant too. In return, I get this. I'm a female solo traveller, far from home, do you want me to sleep in the parking lot? I normally don't write bad reviews because I know from personal experience how harmful these can be, but now I had to. It is really a pity, Brit hotel le cottage, but I won't come back to any of your hotels due to this event and I won't hestitate to tell other travellers about this.

06/07/2026: I came to celebrate a family birthday. Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the meal. I highly recommend it. A small but important detail (I have dietary restrictions): they took all my needs into account and provided a suitable meal. A big thank you to the team! Don't hesitate to stop by.

15/06/2026: Hello, we came for lunch today (2 people without a reservation). The welcome was fantastic, it's becoming rare these days. The waitresses were attentive and really pleasant. The food was also perfect. I highly recommend it.

14/09/2026: I had lunch on the terrace today. A great deal: a set menu for 15 euros with a starter, main course, and dessert, with a choice of two options. Everything was really delicious and well-prepared. The setting was pleasant and the welcome friendly. I'll be back... It's a shame I don't live nearby, otherwise I'd come more often.

10/09/2026: It was a carnival weekend so possibly our experience isn't typical! Initially good service but when we returned, we had no service & left!

06/05/2026: Passing through the area, I had lunch at the restaurant of this hotel. The service and welcome were excellent. A starter and main course cost €15. For the starter, I had a very creamy and flavorful asparagus velouté, and for the main course, cod (from the daily specials board). It was truly delicious and perfectly seasoned. I highly recommend this establishment.

17/04/2026: A bit pricey for an overnight stay considering the level of comfort and relative quiet of the city center, but a very good restaurant and a great team.

22/08/2026: Although the park is very well-landscaped and suitable for all levels of visitors, I found it disappointing not to be able to follow a designated path. Having to constantly consult a map to find your way around and avoid missing an enclosure is inconvenient, especially with children. All the restrooms were particularly dirty! The "activities" were often just explanations about the animal without actually seeing it. However, we did have a good meal (fast food) with very little waiting time.

11/06/2026: No complaints about this hotel, which has been around for a long time and whose current owners have preserved its undeniable charm. Excellent restaurant. Wonderful welcome.

08/06/2026: A wonderful discovery at the restaurant of the Grand Hôtel de Solesmes. The setting is superb, calm and bright, with a lovely view overlooking the garden. The food is simply perfect! Seasonal produce, expertly cooked. The staff is incredibly attentive, professional yet warm. Excellent value for money for an exceptional experience. An address to treasure.

18/04/2026: The owners are exceptionally kind, always smiling and attentive. The cuisine is simply outstanding: generous, flavorful dishes, prepared with passion. You leave completely won over and eager to return very soon. Le Relais Henri IV is a gem. Five stars without hesitation.

04/09/2026: What can I say except that it's clearly my favorite lunch spot 😍 The welcome is always fantastic, the team is dynamic, friendly, and attentive, the food is truly delicious… and the service is incredibly fast, perfect for those in a hurry at lunchtime! I enjoy my meal every time and I'm always made to feel very welcome. In short, a sure thing that I recommend without hesitation!
