You have to pay for the side dish in addition to the main course!
Pork ribs with a very peppery sauce, canned and no mushrooms
A really small half chicken (a chicken leg) really ridiculous
The bottled price was €7 even though there were carafes on the bar counter!
And to top it off, these facts were followed by a waiter outside the restaurant, the latter asking us if they had not stolen a pepper mill, truly unheard of 😡
Really bad experience in such a beautiful ski resort

18/04/2024: I recommend Le trifollet, an excellent restaurant, the pizzas are succulent and the daily specials are always successful, the owner and waiters are very friendly, the service is impeccable and smoothly conducted. The interior is very pleasant and very cozy. Nothing needs to be changed. Every year I go back and I love it. Well done to the team

21/03/2024: I was told the barracks were the place to be in Val d'Isère, what a nasty surprise, deplorable service, decent food, but all in a din that makes you just want to finish your meal and run away. No respect for the customer, the important thing seems to be to make money…nothing more.

03/04/2024: Everyone come to Crazy Barm's! The products offered are of great quality, the bread is excellent and what can we say about the welcome... the salespeople are great and super friendly! Mr Chevallot has some worries to worry about
31/03/2024: Very nice atmosphere, their bread is delicious and their pastries are to die for, and what can we say about their raclette ham and truffle panini! and especially their flan pastry, never had such a taste in this dessert! Crazy!

13/03/2024: We have been to this hotel some time ago. I call to book again, impossible to get someone who understands French on the phone!!!
09/01/2024: Went with Neilson ski holidays. Excellent food and fantastic ski reps. Everyone was so friendly. Rooms were well equipped and spotless every day. Really nice toiletries.
The spa area and pool was spotless The steam room was especially good. I recommend the deep workout massage in the spa.
Highly recommended.

23/03/2024: on Center Street, which just opened last December. Surrounded by restaurants and shops, the location is very good. There are also shuttles to surrounding restaurants. Service staff are very kind
, the service is also in place. The room design is comfortable and reasonable. Will stay here next time!

06/04/2024: Fantastic setting, great atmosphere with friendly and helpful staff. Top quality food, not overly expensive.
05/04/2024: Waited 45 mins for first drink, found the waiter we asked quite rude ‘What do you want?’ Food took a lot longer. We asked for the bill 3 times. Great place and food but thoroughly disappointed with the service. Appreciate busy but felt our table was not monitored.

20/03/2024: The fries are not the best but the atmosphere at Les Crozets is one of the best.
20/03/2024: Exorbitant prices for a self-service restaurant, without justification. 10€80 a pint and expensive dishes for little on the plate, even though it’s not even a high-altitude restaurant.
Quality and quantity of dishes more than disappointing…
Location and tourist attraction should not be a pretext for exercising in such a way.
Certainly we are in Val d’Isère but establishments of much higher standard do not charge such prices for lunch.

27/03/2024: A clean, newly refurbished 4 star hotel that is very conveniently located—5 minute walk to gondola and across the street from a bus stop. No frills but nice. I wish they began breakfast service before 8 am which I found odd but other than that, no complaints.

06/04/2024: When weather is sunny, don't hesitate to book a table here. Amazing view on the mountains and Val d'Isère slopes. Personnel friendly, food very good and varied (salads, meat, etc). Quite a big place but very clean and stylish.
06/04/2024: The team is still so adorable and we are still well received but what a shame to have lost our little cabin full of charm and authenticity.
The new building may certainly be more comfortable but without soul. We lost our favorite terrace.

Luckily an adorable seasonal worker. Who handled the order masterfully.
Reflection after ordering a “zero” coke, which I had clearly specified…
In short, a shame because this type of typical, French restaurant must remain!!!!! Looking forward to coming back however and courage for the end of the season.

Small interior but great, reservation recommended depending on the schedule.
The servers are responsive and pleasant. The food is good.
An original place where you can go with your eyes closed.

25/02/2024: Warm welcome, excellent value for money for a restaurant in the center of Val d’Isère! The waiters listen to our requests and give us the best advice regarding the beautiful wine list they offer. We had an assortment of tapas with the large mixed board and the tataki and we tried the two desserts: a treat! The cuisine is refined but gourmet. This is a great address not to be missed for a successful evening with friends. See you soon ! :)
02/02/2024: Outstanding! Atmosphere, staff and food were all spectacular. I cannot explain just how good this little place is. We've eaten in a lot of ski resorts, but we've never had octopus cooked like that. Honestly the best meal we've ever had in a ski resort... And given the years we've been doing this, that's a very big compliment.
The whole feel of the place was exceptional.

12/03/2024: We chose this snack to eat quickly on the slopes and shorten our lunch break to return to skiing. Objective achieved because it was quick. On the other hand, it is way too expensive for a fairly basic quality of food (hot dog + fries).
In summary: good location, fast and decent food but way too expensive.
05/03/2024: Superb high-altitude restaurant which is worth the detour even from Tignes! Delicious and plentiful dishes, top service, very friendly staff and good atmosphere.

28/03/2024: Delightful staff, great food, and an excellent value in an otherwise expensive town. The atmosphere here is wonderful, as the owner immediately makes all feel welcome. We went here once and came back pretty much every day after for lunch.
