03/05/2026: I made a reservation several days ago, which was confirmed online for 5 people this evening. However, we discovered that the restaurant was closed. Unacceptable!

17/04/2026: We'd visited this place before and had fond memories of it. The welcome was excellent, the waitresses very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and the portions were perfect. No complaints whatsoever; we'll definitely be back if it's still open next year, as it seems it will be demolished... a shame, because the mountain decor was lovely.

20/05/2026: I go here every day when I'm in the resort. So many happy memories of going there with the SCGB for apres and the warm welcome we always got. The ski bus stops nearby, so it's a great place to end the day's skiing rather than braving the crowded resort runs into Val.

06/04/2026: A very nice place, the food is good at lunchtime, and there's a great atmosphere at 4 pm. Just one downside: the DJs were much better in 2024.

03/05/2026: We've been going to René's for several seasons now. Always an excellent experience. Magnificent view, very friendly service, delicious dishes, and an excellent pistachio affogato!

12/05/2026: I have been to a lot of bakeries in France. This is one of the best. Living in Val, I have been here 100 times. Everything is just better. More artfully done, better tasting, fresher.

02/05/2026: The various bread options are very good, but as for the snacks and other items, I find them incredibly disappointing coming from a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF). One cookie was simply inedible and went straight in the bin, and the pastries were barely average. €30 spent and quickly regretted. It's much better to go to the other bakery in Val d'Isère.

22/03/2026: One of the absolute best hotels I've ever stayed at! Absolutely magnificent and wonderful service. It was absolutely amazing, bravo! A hotel you just have to go back to!

15/03/2026: We stayed at the Hotel Le Blizzard in Val d'Isère for a week last year and loved the experience. Unfortunately, this second stay was somewhat disappointing in several ways. 1. The reception staff weren't particularly welcoming. 2. Housekeeping didn't come to our room every night, and even when they did, they didn't always leave water. Two nights, we found our pajamas, which had been on the bed, on other furniture—quite surprising for a hotel of this standard. 3. Breakfast was also disappointing: several dishes were cold on multiple occasions. 4. Dinner at the La Luge restaurant was terrible. 5. We unfortunately booked a massage at the spa on the wrong day (an error on our part, which we fully acknowledge). However, we would have appreciated a bit more flexibility from the hotel, for example, the possibility of rebooking at least one of the two massages free of charge or at a discount. 320 euros down the drain. It wasn't all bad, though: the room was very nice and the bar always has a great atmosphere in the evening, very cozy! We also had a fantastic dinner at La Mourra.

28/05/2026: Great food, service leads a lot to be desired, you would nearly think the staff are being held against their own will they are that uninterested maybe a slight bit of humour or a smile wouldn’t go amiss

02/05/2026: The owner and the bouncer assaulted me and they entered a bar with minors, beware of this place, the service is terrible and overpriced for what it is.

03/04/2026: The food, the service, and the atmosphere: everything is perfect! Customers' special requests are always taken into account. A very comprehensive wine list that satisfies every taste. A large and beautiful sunny terrace that invites you to dine al fresco. We will gladly return!

02/04/2026: We went for lunch and it couldn't be more disappointing. we order a kids menu and they brought a microscopic piece of chicken ( they should be ashamed to serve that!!!) the onion soup was stock with some bread and cheese and it was cold. the onions not cooked and almost none at all. the burgers average. extremely pricy for the amount of food and the poor quality.

03/05/2026: Excellent food and service, all in a cozy setting inside and a sunny terrace outside. And all with a smile from the owner. Go for it!

22/04/2026: April 22nd, lunchtime with my children. Clearly avoid this place; there are much better options elsewhere in the resort for the same price. I ordered the Milanese-style veal cutlet, and the pasta served with it was inedible, far too overcooked. The tomato sauce clearly came from a completely industrial container. We pointed this out to the waiter and asked for a replacement, but they gave us the same pasta even more cooked, claiming it was cooked "the French way." The fries were more like cardboard than potatoes. In short, a huge disappointment. It was very good last year.

25/05/2026: I'm posting this comment because I don't understand these people who systematically criticize restaurants, and by extension, restaurant owners and their employees. I've eaten several times at La Peau Vache in Val d'Isère, both for family meals and business lunches, and I've never been disappointed. Perhaps these people who constantly criticize should change their approach to the staff and take into account the challenges of working in the restaurant industry. As for me, I've always been very well received and served. I highly recommend this establishment; the decor is exceptional, and the location is simply magnificent. A big thank you to the entire team for your professionalism and dedication.

27/04/2026: We used to have a great crêperie in Val-d'Isère (Grand Marnier), but now we have a crêperie that's not good and, on top of that, outrageously expensive, with a 40% price increase on all crêpes since the change of ownership in 2026. It's a real scandal. And besides, it's empty compared to before.

12/04/2026: Crepes in all their forms! Perfect for true foodies! Ideally located, this little creperie is the clear winner among "yummy" addresses.

19/04/2026: Nice decor for a ski resort restaurant… however, the pizza dough is not good; it's hard and skimpy. At €23 a pizza, you expect much better, and mine barely filled the plate. It looked like a child's pizza.

18/04/2026: This restaurant dares to call itself a "pizzeria" when their pizzas taste like they've been frozen and are ridiculously expensive. The service is inattentive. I don't recommend going there.
