12/07/2026: At "La Pile des Assiettes" (The Stack of Plates), the only risk is leaving with a stack of delicious memories! I had the pleasure of dining there with my sister yesterday, and we both left absolutely delighted.
Each dish is a true work of art, a feast for the eyes as well as the palate. From appetizer to dessert, it's flawless, a veritable explosion of flavors. You can immediately tell that the food is prepared with passion, using the freshest ingredients.
The side dishes, herbs, spices, and seasonings combine to create a marriage of exquisite flavors, highlighting each ingredient without ever masking its character. The portions are generous and perfectly balanced: you leave feeling completely satisfied, without the slightest hint of heaviness.
And what can I say about the owner? Welcoming, refined, and attentive, she infuses this establishment with an elegance and warmth that make the experience even more memorable. It gives the place a soul as delightful as its cuisine.

14/07/2026: Discovered this restaurant on July 13th. The cuisine was high-quality and refined; we thoroughly enjoyed everything, from appetizer to dessert! A warm welcome with a smile, and all the staff were incredibly attentive. Honestly, well done to everyone!

29/06/2026: Arrived at 9pm on a Sunday at 4pm, barely enough to be accepted, we listened to the service, closing at 10pm, so express service, grilled fish at €39, steamed fish, extremely expensive for the quality, very disappointed, we can be passing through but you need to rethink your approach.

05/07/2026: Excellent restaurant that I highly recommend. We ate there a few years ago and it's still excellent and the portions are generous. I couldn't finish the Tréport-style caudière, or "Norman bouillabaisse." It was all fish. The Calvados soufflé should be ordered right away.
I read about long wait times, but the restaurant was full, and besides, when the dishes are truly homemade, and not just processed industrial food, they take a certain amount of time to cook. Even so, the staff is adequate.
Pleasant staff. Panoramic dining room upstairs.

02/07/2026: Excellent! The set menu at €27.50 included fish soup with stuffed almonds, mussels with fish gratin, and French toast with crème brûlée: everything was excellent. And the service was very friendly. Thank you!

I'm a regular at this casino, and the only dealer is named Bryan. He's actually very friendly, funny, and professional, and I think he adapts to the clientele he's dealing with. Judging by the mistakes you make in writing, we can easily imagine the kind of person you are.
In any case, we understand that you have shares in the neighboring casino, and while it does offer activities other than gambling, is that really the point?
I hope I never run into you at the Joa Le Tréport tables.

I highly recommend it, especially upstairs with the better view 👍🏻👍🏻😋 I think the fish 🐟🐠🦐🦞🐟 jumped straight from the sea into the Calypso kitchen, it was so fresh and delicious 😋👨🏻🍳 🤣🤓👨🏻🍳 not to mention the kindness and smile of our waitress.
We will definitely be back, it's a nice change from our mountains 🇨🇭🇨🇭

09/05/2026: Let's start with the positives. The starter was decent, nothing more. So we expected the rest of the meal to be equally decent.
But the rest was nothing but a disappointment.
The dishes were bland. The salmon was dry, swimming in sauce. The pot of mussels was half full of closed mussels. We still have our doubts about the freshness of these mussels… to be continued.
Some of the industrial fries were barely cooked.
Then, to top it all off, an industrial waffle, burnt on the bottom and paradoxically cold, so cold you could mistake it for cardboard.
To top it all off, we were treated to slow, disinterested, and utterly inattentive service. We had to ask three times for a carafe of water from two different people, even though we had ordered drinks. The carafe of water arrived after the starters. There was an error on the bill, not a word, not an apology. And then they leave you waiting to pay without telling you that you have to get up and go pay at the bar.

09/05/2026: This long weekend, we were with family. My mom and sister wanted coffee, so we sat down. There were three of us sitting on the low wall and two at the table. The woman came over and asked what we wanted. "Two coffees, please." She looked at us and then, in a sour tone, told us, "And that's it?"
Absolutely no customer service whatsoever!
You should find another line of work, madam... Luckily, there's a lovely little café downstairs. 😎

It's disappointing to still find this level of quality in a tourist area. The mussels marinière are cooked with garlic, without onion or celery.
The €2 coffee comes from a Senseo machine... In short, I was very disappointed with this experience. The staff's friendliness can't make up for everything!
24/05/2026: I'm not a picky eater, but everything is frozen. I ordered a rare hamburger, and it was well-done. The fries were frozen too. There were very few people there, yet I waited 40 minutes. The smell was overwhelming. Some customers wanted to come in, but they left immediately, holding their noses. There were peas on the toilet seats. In short, I don't recommend it.
