20/09/2026: Hello, I didn't pay attention to other reviews; I ate there myself. They are good business owners, and running a restaurant, bar, and tobacco shop of this size isn't for everyone. The service was fine; the basics were there. The terrace is very nice. Good luck!

01/08/2026: The hotel is basically a 1 night stay location. It felt unclean and towels in our room looked liked they hadn't been laundered. Food in restaurant for dinner was appalling as badly cooked and tasteless. Breakfast was of the same very low standard.

13/07/2026: Horrendous experience. We stayed for five nights, and our room was not cleaned even once, despite leaving the housekeeping sign out every day. The service was extremely poor, and the staff didn't seem to care. The hotel is old, dirty, and poorly maintained. Definitely not what we expected, and I wouldn't recommend staying here.

13/09/2026: They advertised baguettes for 55 cents for their 30th anniversary, even in the window, but they had nothing in stock, so they were €1.40. It's a shame they didn't anticipate the crowds and didn't offer any kind of discount!

25/07/2026: As a loyal customer for six years, I am disappointed with the quality of service. Buying a few pastries requires a 15-minute wait. Between the organizational issues and the staffing levels, which also appear to be understaffed at the checkout, I now prefer to go elsewhere, even if it means making a detour.

15/05/2026: We like this bakery, but the atmosphere is far from welcoming. We wanted brownies, but the product label wasn't even there. The server took the order labeled "moist hazelnut and fudgy," and we told her we wanted brownies. She replied that they were brownies, and we told her no, because the labels said something else. Her colleague, who was cleaning, loudly and without any shame, told us, "It's obvious it's a brownie and not a fudgy cake." They should label their products better. Also, Marie Blachère uses three different baking methods for their bread, and that's not indicated either. They were cleaning up to finish on time while people were waiting in line. We arrived at 7:00 PM. Instead of apologizing and admitting they were wrong, they blamed the customer for not recognizing the product.

04/08/2026: I’ve stayed at this hotel 3–4 times, so I have a good sense of what to expect. The rooms are clean, spacious, and equipped with a kitchenette, which is very convenient for longer stays. The hotel also has a nice swimming pool and gym, which are a great addition. However, there are several downsides. The staff can sometimes come across as unfriendly or have an attitude. Breakfast is quite basic and nothing special for €12 per person. One of the biggest issues is that the rooms do not have air conditioning, which makes sleeping during the summer very uncomfortable. Soundproofing is also poor—I could clearly hear music from the neighborhood, including All I Want for Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey during the Christmas season. The location is another drawback. It’s quite far from central Paris, with limited public transportation options, so getting around often means relying on Uber, which can become expensive. Overall, it’s a decent option if you need to stay near Charles de Gaulle Airport and appreciate having a kitchenette, but there are definitely areas that could be improved.

05/07/2026: Air conditioner did not work in the room when I checked in during the evening. The front desk said they couldn't send someone to look at it until the next day and said they didn't have any other rooms to offer. The next day when I returned very late in the evening, I found they had not done anything. The front desk said they couldn't send someone until the next day - again! They finally offered me another room. After I unpacked in my new room and went into it's bathroom, I discovered a horrible sewer smell was backing up into the bathroom's drains. Escalated to the front desk. Again - they said they couldn't do anything about it and they did not have any other rooms to offer. They finally agreed to send someone to the room who simply sprayed disinfectant into the drains. They said they would send someone the next day to resolve the issue or would offer me another room. The bathroom smell was terrible the next morning. I reminded the front desk of the issue the next morning. The associate assured me they would have a new room ready when I returned late that evening. When I returned that evening, the front desk associate said they didn't know anything about my issue and did not have any more rooms available. After I escalated to another associate, they were suddenly able to find me a new room. As I unpacked in my third room around midnight and pulled back the bed spread, I discovered the bed was missing a bed sheet. I again notified the front desk. The associate handed me a bed sheet and said I'd need to add it to the bed. On two different occasions I asked to speak to a manager. I was told both times a manager was not available to speak to. I had a pretty bad experience at this hotel. I would highly recommend you avoid this hotel.
