09/07/2025: Excellent service, very attentive, for this small restaurant, well-located on the Quai de la Chaume. The cuisine is refined, but in our opinion a little too much, a little too complicated, which sometimes alters the taste. Small details that still leave plenty of room for potential: the veloute could be simplified a bit, the grilled langoustines should be served shelled, the dessert biscuits a little too hard... And to enjoy the place, I read Honesty Bar (found on Amazon), a great, non-violent, "feel-good" thriller... TOP!

09/07/2025: 2nd visit and still just as good. The lunch menu is a real treat! From the melon soup to the nectarine cream to the chicken, our senses were awakened and amazed by the presentation and the taste discoveries in every bite. The very friendly and smiling staff knew how to be attentive without being intrusive. A very nice experience again

09/07/2025: Formerly the Auberge de la Plaine, where we used to come every year to feast when we went on vacation, we were already surprised by the new name "Mille Saveurs," which is more reminiscent of a neighborhood Chinese restaurant than a good local restaurant... but that's a detail! Then the wait... very, very, very long, and the tables around it were in the same situation! The menu is more extensive than the previous owner's... but we know that in catering, this requires either more staff, or the price to pay will be a drop in quality... and in fact, the dishes are not very refined... the Caesar salad is greasy (the tandoori chicken is soft and mushy), the monkfish with rice is very average... the foie gras is ordinary... not bad, but nothing special, even though the prices are higher. Where are the differences? The previous owner and his team were very empathetic and jovial (Jean Dujardin's visit is a testament to this). The menu is short and features extraordinary ingredients sourced by the owner (langoustines, etc.), very refined and flavorful sauces, and ultimately, simple but excellent dishes that make you want to come back. Unfortunately, this isn't the case so far. Good luck to the whole team! And to enjoy the place, I read Honesty Bar (found on Amazon), a great, non-violent, "feel-good" thriller... TOP!

23/01/2025: Traveling for work. I had the opportunity to enjoy a very pleasant warm lunch on a rainy day. Excellent cuisine (dressing, seasoning, controlled cooking) In short, comfort on the plate, or rather the pleasure of pleasing is there.... And the brioche was a treat!!! The welcome is not left out 😊 I will come back if passing through the area. THANKS

03/12/2025: We were lucky enough to participate in a "Challenge Your Taste Buds" evening. The team was fantastic, from the kitchen to the dining room! Special mention to Maloé for organizing and hosting the event! We discovered new dishes and wines in a fun and friendly atmosphere (even for a wine novice like me 😃, a great experience). We'd love to do it again! 🤩

01/12/2025: We came for lunch on November 27th to celebrate my 70th birthday. I should mention right away that we were the only customers during lunchtime. My wife chose the set menu, and I opted for two dishes à la carte, mainly the beef. We accompanied our meal with two glasses of champagne, which was very good, as well as two glasses of wine. The starters were decent. As for the main courses, my wife enjoyed her hake with scallops; however, I was extremely disappointed when my beef was served. Instead of a piece of beef, I received a round sample of meat, 4 to 5 cm in diameter and 3 to 4 cm high. It's very small for a piece of beef, but I would have been satisfied if it had met my expectations: seared, rare as requested, tender, and flavorful. None of that! A piece of dark meat, unappealing to look at, undercooked, rubbery, and tasteless. I didn't ask for a replacement because if, from the outset, a renowned gourmet restaurant can't serve you a decent piece of meat, there's no point in expecting more, since it should simply be seared and cooked to the requested doneness! I did mention this to the young waiter, who was otherwise perfect throughout the meal. As for dessert, it was presented with a small birthday candle on a chilled plate (frozen??). The petit fours that accompanied the coffee and herbal tea were still cold inside (again, frozen??). This is all too much for a supposedly upscale restaurant! At the register, I again brought up my beef with the owner. She showed absolutely no understanding, saying, "This is the first time I've ever heard such a comment," and I understood perfectly well that it meant nothing to her and that the problem wasn't with the food or her. So, of course, no gesture of goodwill to make up for this lack of professionalism! At over €80 per person, this shouldn't exist. Needless to say, we won't be going back! Luckily, the next day in Noirmoutier, we were able to put this misadventure behind us by discovering a small restaurant that was packed with older locals who know how to appreciate good food.

22/06/2025: AMAZING!!! Proper savoury crepes (called Galettes). Nice setting - outside in the shade. Highly recommend. Chips with garlic butter - yum!

30/11/2025: We shared a family meal this Sunday at lunchtime; the welcome was fantastic, and the chef was lovely. The setting is really convivial, with a fireplace where they grill the meats right in front of the customers. We loved it. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. We will definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

17/11/2025: A wonderful experience on this beautiful November day. My husband and I went for lunch and chose from the set menus. He ordered the roasted Camembert, the Angus flank steak, and the French toast – he loved it! I opted for the prawn skewer, the seafood sauerkraut, and the apple-rhubarb tarte tatin – all new discoveries for me, and what discoveries they were! My mouth is watering just thinking about how delicious they were! To accompany our meal, we had a dry and light Mareuil white wine from the Vendée region – very good. The welcome was very warm, with kind and smiling waiters. We had a very pleasant time at this restaurant. We will definitely be back!

06/12/2025: It's always a pleasure to eat at Aux Délices des Halles; Agnes and Patrice always welcome us with a smile. The dishes are delicious and seasonal. Special mention goes to the burgers and the octopus, which are excellent, and the homemade chocolate mousse, which is superb!
