02/06/2026: We came for lunch today as a couple, without the children. We had a lovely time. We received a very warm welcome from two ladies. The service was perfect. We opted for the €35 set menu, which included a starter, main course, and dessert, an aperitif each, and a carafe of wine. It came to €100 for two. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and highly recommend this restaurant in Saint-Gilles!

18/05/2026: We had an excellent lunch at this restaurant, which is already delightful thanks to its warm atmosphere and very pretty, understated, elegant decor. Luckily we had made a reservation because the restaurant was full on this Ascension Friday. All the dishes delighted our palates, and their presentation was enticing.

04/05/2026: The prices have increased compared to those on the menus shown in the photos (up €4 for some items). The various crepes are good and well-presented. My scallops were without coral, while my neighbor's had it—a shame. Any extras (whipped cream, small salad, etc.) are charged, and a bottle of cider is €15! Good food nonetheless.

24/05/2026: Another excellent meal at this restaurant with very friendly staff, splendid decor, and above all, delicious and refined dishes with generous portions. It's definitely worth the money. We introduced it to my family for my birthday, and all eight of us, without exception, had nothing to complain about and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The tables are well spaced, allowing for conversation without overhearing other diners. This is our fourth visit (and certainly not the last), and we have never, ever been disappointed. 13/05/2026: The most important thing about this restaurant: the staff is incredibly attentive. We were well served, warmly welcomed, and they even apologized for the delay in service, even though we didn't have to wait long. It was very pleasant. As for the food, the flavor combinations are well thought out; I particularly enjoyed the scallop gazpacho. The hot stone platters we saw being served looked amazing; I even regretted not ordering one. However, I found the prices a bit high. I must say, the building's architecture is simply incredible in the heart of Challans; it's quite striking. It looks very chic (even more so with matching chair colors 😉).

23/05/2026: A truly excellent restaurant in every respect: the welcome and service were top-notch, very pleasant without being stuffy (special mention to the server who handled the front of house!). The menu is varied but not overwhelming, promising quality, well-prepared dishes... and this is confirmed on the plate! The dining room has been renovated, is pleasant and well laid out (we weren't cramped like in some other establishments). In short, a big THANK YOU, it's always a pleasure to return.
