13/05/2026: The most important thing about this restaurant: the staff is incredibly attentive. We were well served, warmly welcomed, and they even apologized for the delay in service, even though we didn't have to wait long. It was very pleasant. As for the food, the flavor combinations are well thought out; I particularly enjoyed the scallop gazpacho. The hot stone platters we saw being served looked amazing; I even regretted not ordering one. However, I found the prices a bit high. I must say, the building's architecture is simply incredible in the heart of Challans; it's quite striking. It looks very chic (even more so with matching chair colors 😉).

23/05/2026: A truly excellent restaurant in every respect: the welcome and service were top-notch, very pleasant without being stuffy (special mention to the server who handled the front of house!). The menu is varied but not overwhelming, promising quality, well-prepared dishes... and this is confirmed on the plate! The dining room has been renovated, is pleasant and well laid out (we weren't cramped like in some other establishments). In short, a big THANK YOU, it's always a pleasure to return.

21/05/2026: I came for lunch with my wife, son, and mother, and we all enjoyed the meal. We also had a really friendly waiter who made me laugh with his humor. I highly recommend this restaurant; go eat there, you won't be disappointed. I'll be back to eat at your restaurant during my next vacation.

01/06/2026: Excellent restaurant, the welcome was perfect, the restaurant was very clean, the staff very friendly, and the food very good. There wasn't a large menu, but the quality and fresh ingredients were top-notch. The price was very reasonable. The only downside was the uncomfortable seats/stools, especially for shorter people; my feet dangled over the edge the entire meal. Otherwise, everything was perfect.

21/04/2026: Passing through for a few days on our way from Tours, we arrived around 1:30 pm without a reservation… and starving! 😄 We were greeted with great kindness, friendliness, and a big smile. The team is truly welcoming, the service is quick and always pleasant. The prices are quite reasonable, and the quality is excellent. I highly recommend stopping by this crêperie in Saint-Gilles-Croix-de-Vie; you won't be disappointed! See you soon!

15/05/2026: First of all it is advisable to book. I went today and it was packed with both French and English. I had to sit outside as I hadn't booked which is why.only 1 star for atmosphere. It looked lively though. It was so good to get HOT food which I think is not always the case elsewhere. I had the onion rings which were cooked perfectly followed by the beef and guiness pie with chips. Portions werf good. Having lived in France for 32 years, I miss a good old meat pie and this didn't disappoint. All in all a good lunch. The coffee was a tad too strong for me but that is down to taste. Would I vislit again - yes.

04/05/2026: We called to make a reservation for July 14th, and were told we couldn't make a reservation; we had to arrive at 7:00 PM to get a table for eight people. We arrived at 6:45 PM, and the restaurant was empty, but apparently everything was reserved for the chef's family. We were turned away.

19/05/2026: We had a very good meal. It's good to mention upon arrival that it's your first time here so you know how things work. Nothing complicated for a customer, but I tried to order too quickly. Even though I didn't feel I inconvenienced the person too much, it must have required them to adjust unnecessarily. The portions were generous, and the service was pleasant. The decor was lovely, and the small books available were a nice touch. I've recommended this lovely place to my friends and family 😉

15/05/2026: I'm giving it 3 stars because, being in the restaurant business myself, I can understand that service can be complicated, and otherwise, nothing to say about the food, it was very good, the buckwheat galette burger 👌, but a little more about the service time, a little less than an hour to serve 5 covers, I found that quite long...
