20/07/2026: The food was good. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is there. However, the waiter spilled a tray of drinks on me, including grenadine… My shorts and shoes were ruined. Despite his apologies, there was no gesture of goodwill: a simple free coffee would have sufficed. It's a shame, it spoiled the experience.

18/05/2026: We booked by phone for dinner on a Saturday night: the owner was very direct and not very friendly. The dinner was good overall, but I think our starters weren't homemade (I don't know about the desserts since we didn't have any). The portions were adequate. However, don't order the decaf! I saw that it was just powder and hot water. And I didn't see a coffee machine in operation.

17/06/2026: We had lunch there today: the food was delicious, everything was homemade and fresh. The fries were amazing. We loved the replies to the negative Google reviews; they gave us a good laugh. If we're ever back in Les Sables-d'Olonne, we'll definitely come back 🥰

02/06/2026: Excellent service, charming waitress. One drawback… €15 for a slice of foie gras with a red fruit coulis… overpriced… A warm goat cheese salad at €19… also overpriced considering that, on average, you restaurateurs make a substantial profit margin. We all have to make a living, we all have bills… but paying for the ambiance and not the quality or quantity… that's a shame. An aggressive pricing policy that will ultimately backfire on you, unfortunately.

15/02/2026: It's a shame the seafood sauerkraut wasn't up to par. There was no sirloin steak as advertised on the menu. And no homemade fries as indicated. The wait was far too long. Very disappointed.

14/02/2026: We came today as a party of four without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and they had a nice menu with several choices of fish and meat dishes, including a daily special. We ordered a rib of beef, steak tartare, and pink duck breast strips at 12:45 PM. An hour later, we still hadn't been served. I asked the waitress why it was taking so long, and she gave us a rather unfriendly response: "The oven isn't expandable" or "The restaurant is full," which is unjustifiable given the long wait. An hour and a half later, our dishes arrived, all good and hot, except for the duck breast strips, which were served medium-rare but inedible, with cold mashed potatoes and a sauce that wasn't the one that was supposed to go in the dish. I asked for them to be replaced, but unfortunately, they were out of duck breast strips in the kitchen, so I had no meal. We left disappointed with our meals. I would recommend this restaurant for a group with plenty of time and a lot of patience.
