23/10/2026: Arriving as a couple without a reservation, we were greeted with a smile in the dining room. The terrace was closed due to bad weather. I think it's best to book in advance during peak season, even though the terrace increases the seating capacity. The staff seems to have a family feel, and the communication between the dining room and kitchen is discreet, efficient, and organized, without rushing the customers as you sometimes experience in other restaurants. The meal was therefore enjoyed at a leisurely pace in a full dining room with a pleasantly quiet atmosphere. The cuisine is remarkable in terms of the quality of the ingredients, the precision of the cooking, the seasoning, and the presentation. It's also worth noting that we were served generous portions. We ordered: Aperitif: 1 Pessac-Léognan red wine 1 Pineau des Charentes white wine Main course: 1 slow-cooked veal rump with vegetables in a porcini mushroom sauce (with lovely slices of porcini mushrooms 😋) 1 Landes salad with homemade foie gras as an extra Dessert: 1 Poire Belle Hélène (pear with pear) 1 homemade ice cream sundae For us, it was another gem. Having walked down this street regularly for a long time, we weren't disappointed to have stepped inside, and we'll definitely be back on our next visit. Thank you 🙏🏻👍🏻 PS: That day they had whole, freshly caught sea bream, and for meat lovers, rib-eye steaks in various weights, up to over 1 kg!

21/10/2026: Fantastic spot! A warm welcome from Fabrice and Mathieu, the 3rd and 4th generations of this oyster farming family. The decor is charming and unique, the place has character, and the oysters are excellent! What more could you ask for? Oh yes: the small glass of Tariquet, also perfect! Thank you Fabrice and Mathieu for this delightful experience :)

16/10/2026: A nice, lively place to eat oysters. Be aware, though, that they served us the wrong size oysters but had no problem changing them when we pointed it out. The staff are friendly, and the place is decorated with lots of humorous little signs.
