Les meilleurs restaurants en Gers

18/09/2024: Small hotel well located on Rue du Gers, very accessible a few minutes walk from Auch train station. It also has a Thai restaurant. Good service and correct staff even if Asian does not master the French language, he does so well. The only downside was that I arrived at the last minute and the small room available was a single bed that was too narrow and the room was on the 3rd floor, without an elevator. Value for money a little high compared to the season, and in the city of Auch, the hotel is also located on an avenue where high traffic is a little noisy during rush hours.

30/06/2024: Comfortable room (bathroom a little dated), spacious and pleasant bed. Complete and quality breakfast

08/09/2024: The waitress/manager is not smiling at all... We really had the impression of bothering her to come and place a take-out order... In addition I found a piece of hard plastic in my dish... It tasted good but leaves something to be desired when you find plastic in it... And what's more, they advertise -10% on their cards for any hot takeaway dish, and in fact they don't even apply this reduction...

You might think you're enjoying a superb course at the start, the fairways seeming well maintained, but when you arrive at the 1st green, you have to switch to Russian roulette mode, it is so trashed. It can happen, but not throughout the course 😡 No need to be warned in advance by the staff, who will let you benefit from the unpleasant surprise. Polite but not correct. Let's put things into perspective and go have a drink after the game. Well, at 2:30 p.m., only starlings could keep you company. Seeing such great potential and saying that at this rate it can only close. What a waste

17/09/2024: We had a wonderful time in this Chateau on the french countryside and would definitely come back! You can tell the owners are putting lots of love and desication into it!

20/08/2024: We did well not to take into account previous opinions because this place is great Very quiet, the pitches are large Careful managers. Barbecue evening to recommend quality dish served at the foot of the castle.

26/10/2024: Very dated hotel, tiny shower, a single lamp in the bathroom which provides poor lighting, very noisy (we followed all the details of the arrival of guests returning from a party between 1 and 3 a.m.) Very expensive restaurant for not high-end quality, 80s music in the atmosphere, mysterious drink as a bonus Fortunately the waitress is very nice

19/09/2024: We were only able to enjoy the restaurant, because the hotel was full, but what a very friendly experience, quality reception of the buffet and more than reasonable price... in short, a nice stopover on the way back from vacation THANKS

23/01/2025: While passing through Auch we randomly chose the Campanile. Very warm welcome by a smiling and caring receptionist. The cook was not present for our dinner but our charming receptionist also mastered the cooking side, allowing us to enjoy a duck parmentier. The room was very clean and it was very convenient to be able to park in front of your room. The buffet breakfast was well stocked and we will keep good memories of this night.

22/08/2024: We ate well. Special mention for the Calzone which was delicious! The carafe of water arrived at the very beginning of the meal well before our meals, which was greatly appreciated. The dishes took a little time to arrive though. Very pleasant setting under the Fleurance stone cutlery.

20/08/2024: Accueil inexistant, sans sourire, on nous donne la carte des pizzas sans carte de boissons… au bout de 15minutes après la prise de commande, finalement, pas de pizzas, il n’y en a plus, en ayant commandé à 12h30… Tout de même honteux pour une pizzeria. De plus , le tiramisu, vraiment très Light. Finalement, nous avons mangé du faux filet accompagné de 3/4 frites. Sans sauces… Nous ne recommandons pas cet endroit!

30/08/2024: this place looked beautiful so we made a reservation for our party of 4 for lunch. We were really looking forward to it. Our fourth member was running behind so was going to join us late, but we turned up exactly on time for our booking. I was shocked at how the male waiter treated my mother and mother in law - rude, dismissive, and impatient. He walked off multiple times before my mother could even speak to ask a question. He was seemingly angry that our fourth member had not turned up yet or just didn’t like that we were tourists. My mother and I are intolerant to lactose and dairy so we were unable to get any of the salads that all had cheese, so we decided we wanted to share a larger main - the duck, and that we would also get some side dishes. As we began to order, telling this waiter that we were going to share, he angrily told us (before we even finished our sentence) “ordering just two main dishes for a table of four is not okay. It’s not fair.” And walked off. I was absolutely shocked, as someone who has worked in hospitality for many years. This was disgusting behaviour, in my opinion. He actually had no idea what we would order. We planned on getting two bottles of wine and multiple courses. We left before he came back. It’s rare that I make bad reviews but this was the rudest waiter I have ever come across. You lost out on some business today - it seemed he judged us from the start! To whoever is replying: nous n'avions même pas fini de commander avant que tu ne partes. Cela faisait 10 minutes que nous étions arrivés et notre 4ème personne serait là dans 5 minutes et aurait commandé chez toi. qu'est-ce qui ne va pas chez toi ? des fous. tu as des problèmes de colère.

19/08/2024: Very warm welcome in this restaurant whose concept is original. Local products, notably the duck breast which is succulent, and the presentation of the dish is particularly refined. It's very rare to be able to enjoy a good meal while listening to jazz and surrounded by books. This is what this atypical place in Lectoure offers, and we come away simply enchanted.

23/08/2024: Quelle déception. Il faut préciser que les photos datent d’avant le changement de propriétaire. Nous pensions déjeuner à la péniche mais nous nous sommes retrouvés sur la terrasse du rée de chaussée sur une table non dressée, il manquait des sets de table, des couverts… la carte est à l’image d’une guinguette. En entrée que l’on partage a 2, sans assiette, les moules étaient sèches, le confit de canard était trop cuit. Pas de choix de vin et celui proposé était à 24€ et pas très bon ! Bref nous étions déçus

20/08/2024: We only come to Isle Jourdain on weekends but we dream all week of arriving on Sunday to taste the Jourdinoises du loup gourmand!! Very pleasant staff who reserve it for us every time!!!
