Les meilleurs restaurants en Gers

13/04/2026: The worst bakery ever! They're having fun, laughing loudly with the music blasting instead of serving customers. I've been three times and it's always the same story: four sales assistants, but only one actually serving, with the queue stretching to the door. And on my last visit, I left empty-handed because I was so fed up with the wait. I generally like Marie Blachère, but this one, just two minutes from my house, is a no-go. I'll never go back.

02/04/2026: Not pleasant at all; the staff need to learn some manners.

07/05/2026: Closed at 8:30 PM even though it says 9 PM everywhere and there's no indication to the contrary. What a shame.

06/05/2026: This place needs to be shut down! The dining room was filthy, and the tables were in terrible condition! The food was served cold, and the steak was tough and disgusting!

29/04/2026: The café-bookshop concept is appealing, but unfortunately, the welcome was very poor: without a greeting or a smile, we were dismissed with a curt "the bookshop doesn't accept hikers!" Unbelievable for a town on the Camino de Santiago!

22/04/2026: Passing by Le Cochon Bleu yesterday—a place I'd spotted on previous visits to Lectoure—I was looking forward to spending some time there. However, as soon as I stepped inside, because there was no more room outside, I almost turned around and left when I saw a sign depicting a pilgrim looking like a beggar, and it said that pilgrims were only allowed on the terrace! I'm not a pilgrim, but that sign shocked me… Really needing a hot drink, we sat inside; I had a coffee and my husband a Viennese hot chocolate… The owner made fun of our choice because it was hot… but we were happy with it. We also ordered a lemon tart, which was never served. It was 5:25 PM and she informed us that she was closing at 6:00 PM… complaining of being alone and overwhelmed. A customer, trying to help, brought the dishes back to the counter and she was immediately attacked. In short, a very bad experience… avoid this place, pilgrim or otherwise; this person is not suited for customer service!

23/02/2026: My experience at the Lectoure casino was impeccable. We received a very warm welcome at the entrance and in the restaurant. The staff were very pleasant and attentive. We had a wonderful lunch; the dishes were beautifully presented and delicious. It was my birthday, and dessert was on the house, which was a lovely touch. The young waiter was very pleasant, as was the rest of the team. The casino itself is beautiful and inviting, with a wide variety of games available. I highly recommend it.

18/01/2026: Very few people. The machines are stingy and don't give back the money wagered.
