12/01/2026: Very basic rest area but with all the amenities!! In my opinion, it's a great place to stop and rest after your trip or before leaving! The restaurant is fantastic, the Corsican owner and the staff are all fantastic, polite and very kind. I'll definitely be back, the price is fair.

10/12/2025: Fantastic place, plenty of space, very good location, especially after arriving and departing the ferry. Very good location for exploring Bastia. We highly recommend it. It was great.

23/01/2026: We spent a week in June at the Hotel Ostella in Corsica – and we can say without a doubt: this is not a hotel where you should spend a whole week!!! Our room (404) overlooked a parking lot. The location is very poor on foot; you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, where cars drive extremely fast. Buses only run until around 8 p.m., and taxis are very expensive. Without a car, you're practically stranded. The bathroom smelled terrible, so we had to change rooms. There was also an unpleasant odor in the restaurant, which is absolutely unacceptable. For a hotel in this price range, it's a disaster. On the positive side: the bed and bathroom are large, there's plenty of storage space, and most of the staff are friendly. On the negative side: no proper duvet, no kettle, and the mirror is too small. The free parking lot is constantly overcrowded, and there's no way to control who parks there – completely incomprehensible. The Sole Mare Beach Club isn't just a few minutes away as described, but a 26-minute walk, also across a busy road. Sun loungers cost €15 per person and are not part of the hotel, even though it's advertised as such. Breakfast is okay, but it's ruined by a very unfriendly employee who clears everything away long before it's finished. There was also confusion at reception regarding a supposed breakfast bill of €62, which no one could explain. In short: Corsica is beautiful, but this hotel was a disaster for us; it wasn't a holiday at all. We wouldn't stay here again.
