26/01/2026: A truly wonderful Moroccan restaurant. Lunch menu at €22 with a choice of starter/main or main/dessert. I enjoyed an excellent lamb tagine, and the couscous was also delicious. The service was top-notch; the gentleman who is clearly also the chef was lovely. I highly recommend it.

23/01/2026: I thoroughly enjoyed it! A generous portion of foie gras as a starter. I could have been satisfied with just that, but the cassoulet came along and filled me up. The duck was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with crispy skin, and the addition of a delicious sausage made for a winning combination. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant, whether you're dining alone or with company. Thank you for this wonderful meal.

The beer selection is extensive and caters to all tastes. The atmosphere is relaxed yet refined, with a pleasant terrace and comfortable setting. The regular entertainment (karaoke, quizzes, sports broadcasts) is a real plus and contributes to the friendly atmosphere without being too noisy. The service is professional, welcoming, and efficient, even late into the evening. Also worth noting is the accessibility for people with reduced mobility and the LGBTQ+ friendly environment, making it an inclusive and respectful place. A reliable, well-run, and consistent spot, ideal for both drinks and dinner. Highly recommended.

07/11/2025: What a great find! I'm not usually a fan of this type of cuisine, but I have to admit I thoroughly enjoyed it! The vegetarian Pad Thai was delicious. For starters, we ordered an assortment to share, and we can't wait to go back!

Chez Carmen has a history, a reputation, a respected past… but a restaurant doesn't thrive on memories; it thrives on the quality it serves today. 👉 The real problem here isn't the welcome, the service, or the cooks—quite the opposite ❤️. The servers are professional, kind, and dedicated, and the cooks clearly do their best with what they're given. You can feel their passion, their desire to do well, and even their discomfort with customer feedback. ❌ The problem lies at the top. The quality of the ingredients, especially the meats, is unworthy of the establishment's standing and history 🥩❌: undercooked meat, mediocre taste, very expensive salads with few ingredients, lacking generosity and love on the plate. It feels like the pursuit of profit has taken precedence over quality. ⚠️ This is a strategic error. Today, customers don't pay for a name or a glorious past, but for an experience, an emotion, genuine quality. The present is no longer the past, and without improving the present, there will be no future ⏳. 🙏 This comment is a plea, not an attack: 👉 Respect your teams 👉 Respect your customers 👉 And above all, respect the products. Chez Carmen could become a benchmark again. But that depends solely on the owner's choices, not on the talent or commitment of the employees. 😞 Too bad… for now.

06/12/2025: Very warm welcome 😍 The service accepted our dog, and I didn't know Indian cuisine, a real surprise, Netfang not very comfortable with spices and chili, I found what I was looking for, a clear menu with indications about the spices.

15/01/2026: The reopening of the museum showcases the splendid collection even more! But why is the statue "Model Removing Her Garment" (by Roger de la Fresnaye) displayed so close to the wall? Its most beautiful feature (her back) is difficult to see... darn. Luckily, I didn't come just for that.
