Les meilleurs restaurants en Haute-Loire

08/02/2024: Disappointed by the attitude of the boss/cook. I travel throughout the eastern quarter of France. I visit on average between 10 and 15 different restaurants per month. Including some good drivers. I am lactose intolerant++... (milk, butter, cream). Before entering an establishment, I always look at the menu. Outside, a sign with starter main course and dessert of the day. Okay, it's the call menu, we're in a restaurant so I tell myself we'll see the menu inside. A little wait to get to the table. Carefree. I am seated with someone on a table (normal for a truck stop, less so for a restaurant, in short it doesn't bother me). Not all tables are occupied. So I wonder why I'm waiting... The 2 waitresses are very dynamic and very attentive. 🙏🙏 I ask for the card. And the waitress tells me there aren't any. So only starter/main courses/dessert of the day. Ouch, it's not marked anywhere..... I tell her my problem and she offers me a hearty salad. I said ok And as a main course, an omelette as a replacement, I said okay, perfect, thank you. The salad was served in a small bowl.... Good... 5 salad leaves and 3 eighths of tomato... For a size of 110 kg 😅😅. Well I say to myself good. It helps you stay in shape 😁😁. Next comes. The omelette by itself.... No dough, rice, vegetables or anything else. Ok, no worries. We're not going to be difficult I smell it and I look at the fat in my omelette which has nothing to do with oil. I can feel the roundness of the butter in this omelette..... Annoyed.... I ask the waitress for confirmation that it is not cooked in butter... She confirms to me that it is cooked in butter. The reason why I can't eat the other dishes...She apologizes, and doesn't understand why the cook did this and asks the cook to make it again. The meal finished. The boss is at the cash register. Confused, I apologize out of politeness. The boss replied, "If you had told me from the start I would not have received you...it created a mess in my department." Shock... I left stunned... I find this so shocking... On a restaurant with 20 seats. Without a map. No choice. So everything is ready, just some editing to do. A salad and an omelette disrupts a service???? I am speechless..... A chef who does not display allergens. Yet an obligation. And who doesn't know them.... Even worse.... I believe that the word restaurant does not correspond to this establishment, simply canteen would suffice. A shame because the waitresses are very attentive and on top of things. Sincerely.

11/09/2024: Lorsque l’on tient un restaurant la moindre des choses est de répondre au téléphone…. Après avoir écouté attentivement le message du répondeur, j’ai fait la réservation en étant très précise comme démandé! J’attends toujours leur réponse! Arrivés sur place, porte close! Aux dires d’un habitant … »ils se la pete, pas serieux, jamais ouverts…. »

08/09/2024: Des plats avec des saveurs subtiles et raffinées, découverte d’épices du monde encore inconnues pour moi ! Et avec des produits uniquement locaux …. Bref un très bon moment et j’y retournerai 😍

01/06/2024: Très bon mais de moins en moins copieux. Les portions de frites sont de plus en plus petites pour le même prix. Dommage! Pour les commandes, pensez à vérifier avant de partir car il nous est arrivé plusieurs fois d'être obligés de revenir car il manquait quelque chose.

12/05/2024: Nous avons très bien manger les prix sont vraiment abordables. Nous avons été servie rapidement. L’intérieur du restaurant est tres beau et une petite terrasse permet de s’installer au soleil.

30/04/2024: Change of owner and concept! The burgers and kebabs are of good quality, everything is homemade. It's a little expensive compared to what's around, so we're a little more demanding. We'll do it again to confirm our positive opinion! Correction: this snack no longer exists

04/08/2024: I have not yet been able to discover the cuisine and the service, but if they are like the seller, there is no doubt about the professionalism. If you are looking for excellent quality products recommended by an enthusiast, you have come to the right store. A must-see in Brioude!

21/10/2024: Beaucoup trop d attente (1h15) avant le premier plat. Service pas top du tout. Dommage la viande est bonne mais ne rattrape pas le manque de professionnalisme du service

13/08/2024: Un endroit très agréable pour venir manger en famille ou entre amis. Le repas était délicieux et copieux. Mais ce qui a parfait le moment était le service de qualité avec des serveurs•euses souriants, réactifs et à l'écoute. De plus le service était rapide. Un super repas rien à redire on reviendra manger avec plaisir.

25/08/2024: Une belle expérience. Plats excellents, de l'entrée au dessert, plat végétarien délicieux. Cadre original. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. Service sympa

19/08/2024: Une pépite qui mériterait d’être connue au-delà des frontières de Brioude! Du pain et des pâtes fraîches maison, des vins bios, une cuisine hyper respectueuse des saisons et des produits… Les assiettes sont à l’image du lieu : d’un naturel rafraîchissant, sans chichi mais exigeant avec l’essentiel, à savoir l’accueil, le goût, l’authenticité.
