16/12/2024: Tuvimos varias personas recomendar Moo para nosotros para la cena. Fuimos esta noche. Conocimos a uno de los propietarios: Orión. Nos sirvió y habló con nosotros durante bastante tiempo. Teníamos una hamburguesa y una ensalada y ambos eran geniales. Toda la experiencia de la cena fue maravilloso y lo volveríamos a hacer! Altamente Recomiendo.

16/12/2024: The Bighorn Bistro has real potential, but unfortunately our visit wasn't as convincing as we would have liked. First of all: The location is cool, pretty cozy and has a pleasant atmosphere. The service was also super friendly, there's nothing to complain about. The staff really tried hard, but in the end it's the food that counts - and unfortunately we were disappointed. We had two main courses and a starter. Everything was okay in terms of taste, but given the prices you would simply expect more. The portions weren't exactly generous, and the quality didn't quite keep up with the price level. Something was missing, especially with the side dishes. Everything was fine, but not anymore. Another drawback: the waiting time was quite long, even though the restaurant was not completely full. That put a bit of a damper on the mood, especially because at some point you just get hungry and are no longer so patient. But what you have to give up on Bighorn Bistro is the great view. If you get a spot outside, you have a really nice backdrop. Overall, our visit was okay, but it just wasn't good enough for the high prices. We hope that something else happens here – 3 out of 5 stars.

05/09/2024: Good pizzas, good price, the service is self service, they do good empanadas, I loved the carne empanada! A lot of bees around but it's something normal at Chamonix.

The welcome is very good, the location too, in the heart of the center, the food nothing to say, the same for the service, very pleasant with Elise our waitress and then the must are the generous quantities especially for the menus which are generally reduced but then not at all and prices more than reasonable. Well done, we don't understand the bad reviews. Absolutely worth testing

03/12/2025: It's a private, cozy place, the music is great, and the decor is what makes it special! The owner is friendly, the service is fast, and the food is super tasty. The calzone and tiramisu are delicious.

03/12/2025: Cozy, cave-style restaurant with great background music, excellent service, and a very helpful owner. The food is extraordinary and quickly prepared. The best calzone I've ever had in any place I've visited; I highly recommend it.

31/08/2024: Disappointed... I was looking forward to the burger that I was going to taste, but was ultimately quite disappointed. A burger requested rare but which arrived well cooked and in which I did not smell the gorgonzola at all (Toronto Blue) The fries were uninteresting and undercooked (worthy of the work canteen). In short, too bad because the atmosphere and the beers are good.

31/08/2024: Not a single main vegan option on the menu. All the burger buns were coated in egg so even with the veggie patty, you still couldn’t have the full burger. The veggie patty didn’t even taste good. €17 for veggie mush and vegetables with no bread bun is outrageous! The only reason I gave a 2 rating was because the onion rings were actually very nice! But much needed vegan options! It’s 2024!!!

26/01/2025: I have insanely high standards when it comes to food. I grew up in a family of restauranteurs in the UK (my mum even won awards for hers) and I was impressed by the food here. So much so, we went twice. I’m totally confused by all the bad reviews, and probably this indicates that Le Dahu suffered a bad patch a couple of years ago, which can happen - to us all! The main thing is they have more than bounced back! The wine was great too and the champagne was super light and subtly fizzy. The service was very high standard too.

20/09/2024: Had margarita and buffala pizzas. Both were excellent. Service was very quick and friendly service. Would highly recommend.

14/09/2024: Very popular place despite being tucked away in a corner of the Cocktail Scandinave entrance to the Alpina gallery. Slick and friendly service. Good food. More cafeteria than restaurant but I like that. Points lost as could not take cards today. They should have had a back up in place. Even the traders in the Chamonix Saturday market take them so there is really no excuse.

24/09/2024: The food was good. The only complaint would be the lack of soundproofing in the building. The people in the rooms next to us were so loud and the doors creaked and got slammed so many times. You can hear everything!

24/09/2024: Clean room, warm shower, excellent food! What more can you ask for on tmb? I think the place is run by only 2 people, so it gets pretty quiet after 8, dead quiet after 9. It is a quick 10 min walk to town where you can find good breakfast.
