12/03/2026: Shameful service I'm a professional tour guide, I booked a table for 9 people three days in advance, including some who were coming specifically for this restaurant, and I was told they hadn't taken my reservation. This is shameful for an international clientele. (The person who greeted us eventually found us another table.) In short, a business to avoid.

07/03/2026: A solid lower-cost, unpretentious option with all the amenities and basic things you would need to support a great ski trip in Chamonix. The bus stops steps from the hotel taking you to all the surrounding ski resorts and downtown chamonix for transfer to the airport or the bus to Italy, Valle Blanche, etc. The staff are great and make sure you have everything you need, and are willing to keep your ski bags, boots, gear, etc stored in the boot room downstairs while you wait for your next travel plans. There is WiFi that works well from the room and from the lounge downstairs if you need to hop on work calls and get work done. I had no connection issues. Les Praz is a good location (and closer) to the resorts up the valley such as Le Flegere, Grands Montets, and Le Tour. 20 minute walk to downtown Chamonix on a lovely river-side path.

30/03/2026: Best meal we got in Chamonix!! Perfect portion sizes and the food is delicious. The seafood ramen has tons of good seafood and great value too. Gyoza are also delicious! Lovely owner / chef and the waiters are great. Highly recommend

24/03/2026: The staff were friendly. The clean and tidy room was excellent. The price was also reasonable compared to other hotels. It was very convenient having a supermarket and McDonald's right in front of the hotel. There is also a balcony. Disadvantages: It is a bit of a distance if you use public transportation (bus) instead of a car. It is very noisy outside at night, and you can hear people in other rooms playing music and talking all night long. The guests in the adjacent room even found them and told them to be quiet.

22/02/2026: We stopped by Le Privilege every night we were in Chamonix. Amazing food, burger and frog legs (!) were fantastic and I had the best Old Fashioned I had on the trip, not to mention the other specialty drinks that rocked. Live entertainment at happy hour created a great atmosphere. Our group was 10 Americans from 16 to 55 and we all loved Le Privilege. 10/10 would recommend.

04/01/2026: The atmosphere is cozy quaint lovely alps style, service is excellent, food and drinks delicious, awesome music, and will be back again, and again. Highly recommend, even as an ambivert I totally felt “at home” here!

17/03/2026: I went to L'Argentero for lunch with five others during a break from skiing in March 2026. Service was quick and friendly, even though we didn't speak French. I had the mixed salad with ginger and soy-sauce-marinated chicken for 20.50 euros; it tasted excellent and was beautifully arranged. Honestly, this slopeside lunch was as good as a three- or four-star restaurant back home. When leaving, I took a picture of someone’s charcuterie board, which looked so good. I highly recommend.
