27/08/2025: An absolutely unforgettable experience! Nestled in the heart of the Alps, this restaurant is a true gem. The view is breathtaking, each dish is a journey for the taste buds, and the welcome is as warm as it is sincere. You can feel the passion in each plate, fresh products enhanced with talent and creativity. I envy those who live nearby and can go there regularly... it's an address we would like to keep secret, but which deserves to be known to everyone.

26/12/2025: I'm giving it 3 stars for the pleasant setting and the wine (Côtes du Rhône), which was good. Unfortunately, everything else was very average. The rib-eye steaks were tough, tasteless, and rather small.
Furthermore, the bottle of wine was served without any prior tasting. For a Côtes du Rhône at €29, a tasting seems like the bare minimum. The value for money is clearly not there. An experience below expectations.

The restaurant was closed during our stay, but we still had a delicious raclette for dinner!
We were allowed to park our motorcycles in the garage.
It was a lovely stay! We'll definitely be back.

This restaurant definitely brightened our weekend; we absolutely loved it.

24/01/2026: I really enjoyed it; of the three restaurants I tried, this was my favorite. The daily special (andouillette sausage) was very good and perfectly seasoned, the blueberry tart was excellent, the price was very reasonable, and the staff was friendly. I highly recommend it.

It was perfect, we thoroughly enjoyed our meal—generous portions, quick service, and a big thank you to the new waitress who is very pleasant, always smiling, and always has a kind word for us. She's helpful and available. We'll be back next year.

01/02/2026: Charming chalet style resto in the snow in winter and sun in summer. For skiers a delightful stop in the hills. At night and in the summer there is a 98 step staircase through the woods with great view. And the food of course… the fondues and raclettes and brasserads are firsts class as well as Savoyard dishes. @chaletstow.

And what about the unfriendly waiters who gossip about their colleagues' squabbles right outside the tables?
Honestly… Meh.

22/01/2025: I have an extremely restrictive diet and it is always difficult for me to go to a restaurant, this was not the case, I was able to ask for changes to the dishes without any problem, the waiter was perfect, very kind, professional, attentive, if all the servers were like him going to the restaurant would always be a great pleasure!

06/02/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today and the experience was extremely disappointing.
As soon as the aperitifs arrived, the waiter spilled two beers on several coats and sweaters at our table. The result: two damaged coats. Accidents happen, but the way they handled it is incomprehensible. The only gesture of goodwill offered was four free coffees, worth barely a few euros, which is utterly paltry considering the damage.
The food was unfortunately no better:
- Fries that were clearly frozen
- Dishes that were very expensive for the quality served
- Overall, bland and tasteless
The establishment gives the impression of being stuck in the past, but without the charm that could compensate. Neither the quality of the food, nor the service, nor the attention paid to the customer justifies the prices charged.
Between the poorly handled incident and the very poor value for money, we left with a decidedly negative experience.
We do not recommend it.
