01/09/2024: Wonderful place with exceptional views of Mont Blanc. Perfect for any circumstance. A little pricey but the view makes up for it all. At around 1400 metres. Perfect air and temperature. Very nice.

18/08/2024: This is a really lovely little restaurant bursting with charm and character, and much nicer than many of the larger and more commercial options at the mountain top. There's only one option on the regular menu but it is a good one - potato fritters, with dried meat and some very interesting locally made cheeses, and a small salad. The food was excellent. The tiny kitchen and very small menu mean you may struggle a bit if you have dietary restrictions, but if you are happy with local cheeses and meats you can't go wrong here. It's a very small place, maybe 20 seats inside and a similar number outside, and the inside with its open kitchen and cosy fireplace very much has the feel of a family house rather than a restaurant. On the terrace you have amazing views, and the accompaniment of the bells of the herd of cows who live in the field next door. Service is friendly and personable, and we were also offered a digestif on the house at the end of the meal. It's maybe a 15 minute walk from the Mont d'Arbois cable car, a bit further than the most of the other options - but overall it is well worth the detour.

15/08/2024: After climbing for more than 2 hours the outward journey, from La Villette to the Miage refuge, very happy to find a good place to regain energy. Potato, bacon and cheese omelette with a good salad and a blueberry tart on the side. . Bring cash or check!! No credit card or internet connection upstairs!!! To do but equipped to climb it's steep!! Thanks to the Miage refuge team.

01/08/2024: Very nice place but a slight disappointment in terms of value for money. The meal is basic (tasteless omelette with boiled potatoes!), some prices are prohibitive (more than 8 euros for a blueberry tart). The premises are very nice and the view magnificent but it would benefit from a little more authenticity in the dishes. The place probably remains popular with people who come by car, which perhaps explains this...

05/09/2024: Après une longue randonnée nous arrivons à l’auberge à 13h20 pour s’entendre dire que l’heure limite du service pour manger un p’tit bout était 13h15…et qu’il eut été préférable de réserver. Visiblement ça sent la fin de saison pour cette auberge au personnel peu sympathique.

16/03/2024: Cuisine médiocre Surtout évitez la tartine c’est presque immangeable et très cher pour du pain jambon fromage sans intérêt aucun Bcp trop de chantilly pour masquer qu’il n’y a rien dessous pour les desserts Serveurs très sympathiques. Service hyper rapide car plats réchauffés. La patronne à l’inverse est plutôt revêche (service minimum)
