17/03/2026: We had dinner at the Ferme de Cupelin restaurant. It was our first time there since the new owners took over. We were surprised to find a set menu of either 6 or 8 courses. We chose the 6-course option. The food was of good quality and well-presented, but we were a little disappointed with the accompanying jus and sauces, as they lacked flavor. The service was very professional, but we preferred the kindness and friendliness of the previous owners. The staff was a bit rushed. We had a pleasant time overall. In previous years, we were regular customers, but with the new management, we might not return.

21/05/2026: We had lunch today at this lovely restaurant, a small table overlooking the mountains. The welcome was warm and professional, with a great sense of humor and efficient service. We ate two delicious pan-fried tartiflettes, perfectly crispy and caramelized on the outside and soft inside, topped with melted Reblochon cheese. It was so good that we can't wait to come back! Well done... keep up the good work! 👏

02/02/2026: The place is simply amazing I was there with a group of Jews for the weekend and Shabbat. The owners went out of their way to help accommodate the group, and the stay was more than adequate The place is clean and maintained to a very high standard, even for a prestigious area. The kitchen was converted to a kosher kitchen despite all the requirements, and the food and cooking were done on site for the entire weekend, including Shabbat Highly recommend

04/04/2026: An exceptional location at the foot of Mont Blanc. The view is magnificent. The staff is friendly and attentive, led by the charming owner. The food is simple, delicious, and authentically Savoyard! The pastries are decadent and beautifully made! Very reasonably priced.

02/04/2026: It's always a joy to have lunch at Ernestine's, no matter the season. With such a beautiful setting, it's simply WOW!!! As for the food, the service, the atmosphere... everything is there for a wonderful time! I can't wait for August (so I can bring you Jean-Paul's glasses 😂)!!

22/02/2026: Indoor picnic area much appreciated on less favourable weather days. Food is also exceptional value for the slopes and is basic but tasty. Great view of Mont Blanc on a clear day. Friendly staff.

01/07/2026: The food was generally quite good, but I was disappointed by the foie gras (poorly deveined). The service was pleasant and professional. However, the bucket near the toilets for the leaking air conditioning unit and the smell of the grill that permeated our clothes were significant drawbacks.

20/06/2026: We dined at this restaurant and the experience was mixed. The ribeye steak was good, but not exceptional considering what one would expect from this type of establishment. The gin and tonic was far too strong. Despite adding the entire bottle of tonic provided, the alcohol remained very overpowering and completely threw off the balance of the cocktail. The biggest disappointment was the dessert. I ordered a lemon tart that contained a huge amount of biscuit and meringue, but very little lemon cream, which is supposed to be the main element giving the dessert its characteristic flavor. The result was unbalanced and frankly unpleasant to eat. I therefore asked to send the dessert back to the kitchen, but I was told that no refund or compensation would be given. This is regrettable when a customer expresses their dissatisfaction respectfully. In summary, the meal was decent without being memorable, but I particularly advise against the lemon tart, which does not at all correspond to what one expects from this dessert.

23/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening. The servers were very friendly. We enjoyed a reblochon cheese dish with a lovely charcuterie platter. The waiter gave us excellent wine recommendations. We will gladly return to this excellent restaurant.

23/05/2026: The fondue was really bad, far too rubbery, very disappointed with the food….

30/03/2026: Where to start? Is a great location the reason why everything else has to be so horrible? Reception has a hard time speaking English so they just hang up on you when you are trying to get information. Twice. Once when we were trying to get a code for the parking. You book an extra bed for your child and when you arrive it isn't ready. Then when it comes, it is broken and it takes hours to replace. Breakfast is simply sad, really. The room is old not in a good way. Carpeted with ancient smells.. THe flip flops for the sauna are reusable. Seems like hotel management is trying to save money on the smallest things. The shower on the bathroom is awful. A small amount of water comes out of it. For the price we paid, this is most likely the worst place we have ever stayed at.

30/03/2026: The hotel is perfectly located at the foot of the slopes, with a friendly and very welcoming staff. The view of Mont Blanc from the breakfast room is magnificent. We had an excellent stay thanks to the team and the thoughtful touches in our room (pastries, water, toiletries, etc.). We will gladly return!
