28/09/2024: a little disappointed with a starter in a small quantity of the main element, plate of dishes which are cold so the dish arrives hot but does not stay that way for long, in the salad the cheese sand... the boss who seems irritated by questions and lacks restraint.. otherwise & quite original but nothing to do with GUERET's coq en pâté where everything is perfect

06/09/2024: I last visited this restaurant some years ago and only revisited recently. This restaurant has a mixed clientele (artisans and professionals) who are there for the quality of the food, especially the steaks! My friend has lived in France for 16 years and I for 8 years and we have never had such good meat. I can only speak about the steaks which are not the cheapest you will ever encounter but in terms of flavour, tenderness, and exactness of cooking ( I had mine a point and my friend medium) was to be admired. Did I detect the flavour of BBQ? The steak is simply accompanied by frites and a light well dressed salad. There are choice of sauces to add to the delights at 1.80 euros. The house wine is very quaffable and comes in 3 colours and several carafe sizes! The desserts are wide ranging and will fill any last pangs. The entrees are only for the biggest porkers!!!! I ask simply - can you you tell me of a better steak anywhere within 50 km of this place? Service is professional and rapid (if you ask.)

26/08/2024: A very pleasant experience in a small restaurant that I didn't know existed! Friends told me about this place and I joined them Friday evening. The menu at 32nd represents the time it takes to produce beautifully created dishes with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The starter selection consisted of Gazpacho, an eggplant or blood sausage tart and a lovely colorful mini salad - all were beautifully presented and very well executed. Main courses were chicken tagine or fish curry. On a larger menu I wouldn't have chosen either option, but it's good to sometimes be forced to try something different and the fish curry was absolutely superb - lightly seasoned and all the flavors came together nicely expressed. Another diner ordered the tagine and confirmed that it was of a similar quality, both in flavor and texture. The desserts on offer were fruit crumbles (made daily so there is sometimes a choice) and the pannacotta was absolutely delicious, accompanied by warm figs. I am very happy to know that we have a restaurant that offers such good quality food in an area where the food offering is generally good but not particularly exceptional. I look forward to our next visit.

22/09/2024: My husband and I visited Limoges on our way to Toulouse and called in unannounced at Le Cheverny. We had the most incredible meal, the staff were brilliant and we wish we had time to stay longer. We highly recommend everything about this wonderful restaurant!
