03/03/2026: An exceptional stay! We spent three nights at the Ranch des Lacs. Our three-day vacation was idyllic, thanks in large part to the kindness and attentiveness of our hostess, Françoise. The room was spacious, very well-equipped, and everything worked perfectly. We enjoyed the breakfast, which offered a wide selection of excellent quality products and was served in a cozy setting. We had half-board for dinner: our hosts graciously and tactfully accommodated our preferences. We savored high-quality traditional cuisine based on local products. Finally, the location is ideal for those seeking peace and quiet and hiking in nature. A huge thank you to Françoise for this enchanting interlude!

27/02/2026: In a truly lovely location, Ranch des Lacs is the perfect bed and breakfast! We received a very warm welcome, the room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. We also tried the set menu featuring fresh market produce, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The breakfast was equally amazing! A sure bet! I recommend it 200%!

27/02/2026: Perfectly situated on the serpentine path, we found the perfect spot for a well-deserved break. A €16 set menu (starter, main course, and dessert) that was absolutely delicious and homemade. The added bonus: a sunny terrace to enjoy the first signs of spring. We couldn't have asked for anything better!

06/12/2025: A truly beautiful place that makes you feel right at home! The owners are incredibly friendly and always have a smile on their face. The place is clean, and the outdoor area is lovely when the weather is nice. I haven't eaten there yet, but the sight of some of the facilities has made me want to! Not to mention the smell! As for the (rather) unpleasant comments, there will always be a tiny handful of 'HATERS' trying to fill their sad days however they can! A PLACE TO HIGHLY RECOMMEND! BRAVO!

04/12/2025: Fabulous Christmas lunch at La Ferme du Lac today , food was absolutely delicious and the service was spot on. A lovely atmosphere in a beautiful setting even on a rainy day. Highly recommended.

01/12/2025: My partner and I were recommend this place, so we went for the special Friday night fish n chips and It did not disappoint! The fish tasted fresh and was beautifully crisp same as the chips that were served with it. We had a small portion which was more than enough, as their portion sizes were very generous. The restaurants atmosphere felt extremely welcoming and homely. We would definitely return and recommend Ferme Du Lac to others.

04/04/2026: Order taken after 30 minutes. Unpleasant service. The waitress sighed as we called her to place our order. Another waiter arrived, even more unpleasant than the first. He brought a strawberry soda, and I pointed out that a syrup I had ordered as an extra was missing. Despite their delay, they offered no compensation and even had the nerve to leave, saying, "That'll be 30 cents more." Given the wait, I went to buy a drink from another shop nearby because I was thirsty, and they asked me not to eat at their table despite their delay.

15/03/2026: Passing through Limoges, this restaurant was recommended to us by locals. Bistro-style cuisine made with quality ingredients, the menu was extensive, and the portions were generous. All this with friendly and quick service.

07/03/2026: A traditional and delicious bistro! My partner and I came one evening, and we weren't disappointed: a very nice menu with a wide selection of meat and fish dishes. The meat is particularly good: we highly recommend the beef tartare, as well as the salmon and beef carpaccios! The portions are very generous! A pleasant atmosphere and very welcoming staff. Thank you to the team :), we'll be back!

19/04/2026: While the quality of the meat was excellent, the fries served with it were of poor quality: greasy and soggy. The mixed charcuterie/cheese board was generous and delicious. The Bayonne ham was succulent. However, there wasn't enough staff for the service. The waitresses were overwhelmed and disorganized, juggling taking orders, answering the phone for reservations, and serving customers. There was no wine by the carafe, but no one even thought to offer wine by the glass! So I ordered a half-bottle to replace the carafe, and I asked twice for the half-bottle, which was never brought. Very disappointing. Furthermore, when it came time to pay, I was asked, "Did we bring you the wine?" I replied that we hadn't, but there was absolutely no apology for this oversight. It's truly regrettable because the decor is lovely. The restaurant is clean, and the ingredients and dishes are of good quality. It's a shame. If this feedback could help improve the service, that would be great because my husband and I were disappointed and frustrated.
