24/01/2026: It had been a long time since we'd been to La Marmite, a renowned Dorache restaurant. We had a wonderful evening: a warm welcome, a lovely setting, and excellent cuisine from start to finish. The lamb pot-au-feu was particularly delicious, and other guests thoroughly enjoyed the hake fillet with risotto. Thank you for a lovely time.

The decor is industrial, with attractive windows overlooking the street. I went there for lunch with two friends; the dishes were simple but good, and the service was quick and friendly. 24/08/2025: We arrived without a reservation (a stroke of luck, as we were the last to be seated, as the restaurant is so popular in the region – and we quickly understood why!). The owner, very kind, welcomed us and sat us down in a small, cool converted barn opposite the restaurant. What a lovely surprise! Our daughter loved this unusual place. The food is flawless. The menu, deliberately kept small, demonstrates perfect mastery and a high standard of quality. The dishes, prepared with local produce, are fresh, tasty, and perfectly balanced. If you're ever in the area, this restaurant is well worth the detour: go for it with your eyes closed! For us, one thing is certain: we'll be back with great pleasure.
