08/10/2025: Nice bar with good cocktails, except the first one which I found tasteless, it's a shame that the terrace overlooks the station and that on the first floor with the noise of the tram it spoils the experience a little, thank you to the server for offering us the first cocktails because of the wait due to the large group that was there.

28/02/2026: We came on Friday, February 27th. We ordered the Petit Jardin menu. For starters, we had the langoustine ravioli. My wife's dish was very good, but mine had very overcooked langoustines, which I mentioned to the waiter. For the main course, we had the monkfish cheek with a rockfish foam, but there were only three tiny pieces of monkfish, also very overcooked, and the foam was practically nonexistent. I also pointed this out to the waitress. The dessert, supposedly based on chocolate, was actually based on coffee, with only one chocolate element and three coffee elements, including a rather tasteless coffee-flavored ice cream. The service was friendly, but we had barely finished our last bite when they came to clear the table, leaving us with our mouths still full. We really felt like we had to leave quickly. The wine list wasn't up-to-date on the vintages. Overall, we were very disappointed. It doesn't live up to its reputation, especially not at €64 for the menu. We'll try the bistro next time, hoping it will be more appealing.

20/12/2025: At the basement, they have second-hand books, a few tables and a sign that says you can sit and read them. So, I picked up 3 or 4 books I was interested in and sat at one of the tables to glance through them and decide wether or not I liked them. A minute or two later, one of the shop assistants came by to tell me in a very rude way that I can't read the books because "this is a bookshop, not a library". Maybe don't put a "hey please feel free to sit and read our books" sign if you're going to be rude to me about sitting and reading your books? And if you want me to buy a drink to sit in, put another sign or ask me nicely and I would've happily complied. Would not come again.

18/01/2026: Okay, but nothing exceptional for this chain restaurant. It does the job. Well located, next to the city center. The setting is clean. We didn't have to wait, but it wasn't very busy that evening (it was raining). The service was good and friendly, but they missed some key details even though it was late (chipped plate, no food warmer, didn't offer extra fries, cleared the table a bit too quickly...). The food is good, with the usual minor flaws of this chain (meat a little tough, desserts a bit cheap). We still had a pleasant time; it remains a reliable option.

12/01/2026: I'm a regular at this bistro, but this time the experience was disappointing. We waited 25 to 30 minutes for our salmon tartare, which is hard to understand for a cold dish. Meanwhile, our friends had already received their main courses (duck breast and beef) and had to eat without my friend. We asked the waiter several times about the status of our order, and each time the answer was, "It's coming." I had to get up and go see the head waiter before our dish finally arrived in 3 minutes… We also asked for extra fries and salad. After another reminder, the waitress replied "yes" in a very unpleasant tone, as if we were bothering her. Admittedly, we insisted two or three times about the dish, but we were patient and understanding for a hot meal… not for a tartare, which should be served quickly. Note: They offered my friend a free dessert when her main course arrived late, but she didn't want it. Ultimately, since the extra salad was chargeable, they gave it to us for free. It was a nice gesture, but it doesn't make up for the lack of organization. It's a shame, because I usually enjoy this place, but this service really spoils the experience.

23/09/2025: I've been in Montpellier for three years, and this has been my favorite snack bar for three years. I've never been disappointed, always well received, with generous portions, a student offer, and I've never had a problem since. I highly recommend this snack bar.

12/09/2025: Unfortunately, they were missing a tray of fries. The burger was small and didn't make up for it in flavor, which was a shame. The wait was far too long for the few customers present. I won't be back.

28/10/2025: I went there with a friend who's a regular. We were welcomed like family. The idea is original, and I thoroughly enjoyed choosing my kebabs. Kudos for this concept, which has been around for a long time and which I'd never actually been to before. Luckily, my friend encouraged me to finally try it.

27/02/2026: As a Black Cat enthusiast, I'm sorry to write a negative review, but a server grabbed our empty beers (at 12:50 AM, even though the bar was supposed to close at 1:00 AM, and they didn't offer reusable cups despite our request), threw them on the floor, and told us he "didn't have all day." Frankly, his tone was quite rude, especially when we told him we were finished! All due respect to the servers, but this was a bit much for me.

21/02/2026: We went as a family to this restaurant in Montpellier, located on Place Candolle. The welcome was very warm, and the traditional cuisine was excellent, with a variety of tapas for starters and a superb bavette steak (butcher's cut) with pepper sauce and homemade fries. The portions were generous. They also offered a gourmet coffee with homemade pastries and a wide selection of beers. There's a lovely terrace on a sunny square in the heart of Montpellier, and indoor lounges with a pool table – in short, everything is designed for a pleasant and convivial atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend this restaurant.

01/08/2024: Nous y sommes allé aujourd'hui. L'endroit est mignon, le personnel très gentil et souriant. Les pâtisseries sont vraiment magnifiques et donnent très envie! Mais le goût n'est pas tout à fait au rendez-vous.. J'ai pris un dessert à la pêche de vigne, j'ai adoré la texture mousse, il y avait aussi de la pêche fraîche à l'intérieur, mais malheureusement je n'ai pas beaucoup retrouver le goût de la pêche, c'était plutôt fade. Le jus d'orange pressé était une vraie réussite ! Étant en vacance dans le coin je n'aurai plus l'occasion d'y retourner mais j'aurai tout de même voulu retenter et goûter d'autres choses car ça donnait très envie!

11/07/2025: Dishes worthy of a canteen.... served cold.... taste of pre-prepared frozen industrial dishes... |deplorable service with a waiter who clearly doesn't want to work and who doesn't wash his hands after his cigarette break and after scratching his back... icy atmosphere.... and at the end, we aren't even asked if it went well... I strongly advise against it

07/06/2025: Great brasserie with a very pleasant terrace, surrounded by plants and an artificial fountain. The server is efficient. Note that today's dishes were vegetarian. I don't know if that's the norm.

24/02/2026: In addition to being very good, the dishes arrived as fast as Lightning McQueen, and the servers were very friendly.
