And what a wonderful surprise to discover the new chef! Leila has real talent; she brings her personal touch to the varied dishes, all prepared on-site. 24/02/2026: At first, after reading the reviews, I was worried, but it was a very good experience despite the small crowd. The atmosphere was pleasant, the waiter was kind, I ate very well, and the portions were generous. I recommend it! ❤

22/04/2026: I came to eat and frankly, what a disappointment. The fries weren't cooked, and in my taco, the sauce was only at the end, and in a huge amount… it was almost sickening to finish. My friend ordered a bowl, and there… two measly bits of bacon. The result: she mostly ate fries with sauce. I understand that we're in Macron's France and that everything is more complicated, but come on… don't skimp on the portions and at least put some effort into the quality.

16/04/2026: Outages after outages: one day they're out of potatoes, the next they're out of sauces and extras… The staff never have much to do, yet the restaurant is filthy from the moment you walk in. Not to mention the coldness of the place and the atmosphere. It's easy to see why this restaurant is becoming increasingly empty.

17/04/2026: Excellent pizza. We had the Parmigiano. The eggplant was cooked to perfection, flavorful and meltingly tender, the toppings were fresh and delicious, and the Parmesan was generous and also fresh. The pizza crust was both soft and crispy, with just the right amount of salt to enhance the whole experience. Clearly, this is a pizza perfectionist. New to the neighborhood, we will definitely be back because it was a pleasant surprise. Plus, he was very busy, but we just left our number, and he called us back when the pizza was in the oven. We were so happy that despite the crowds, he served us such a high-quality pizza! Keep up the good work; it's truly a pleasure to eat in and a joy to have a great pizzeria like this!

26/04/2026: The prices aren't excessive for the quality 🤌🏼, the servers were very pleasant, the food was cooked perfectly, and the wait time was reasonable. Everything was so good that we went back the next day!!

24/04/2026: So, it's a 5 for me!!! I came for lunch today with a friend and we were seated quickly. The meal (hippo steak among other things) was very good. Special mention for the hippo sauce which really enhances the meat. Special mention to François, our waiter, who was incredibly attentive and provided the kind of service you'd expect from a fine Parisian brasserie. A true professional who clearly loves his job. And thank you for the glass bottle of Coke with a slice of lemon 😅

I'm not talking about the excellence of the dishes, their extraordinary inventiveness, or perfect service, but the emotion one feels when sharing the chef's childhood memories through his cuisine. 14/03/2026: In the medieval streets of Montpellier's historic center, this restaurant, with its Gothic vaulted dining room and small outdoor area, is very welcoming. The menu was a bit complicated to understand with its star system. The manager came to explain it to us, but since we weren't familiar with this star system based on the number of courses chosen, we didn't quite grasp it. And that's where all the magic and joy of dining in this otherwise excellent restaurant disappeared… Mademoiselle (let's call her that) made it very clear that we hadn't been listening properly and that if we "listened carefully," she said politely, but with a tone that, once again, implied we would understand better if we did… anyway! Not being as foolish as we seemed… we chose our menu, knowing that this wasn't our first Michelin-starred restaurant and we're more used to having helpful waiters ready to explain things several times if necessary! For what it's worth, my stepdaughter had already visited this restaurant in 2025 and had also encountered this rather unfriendly head waitress. The experience remains unique in terms of gastronomy: delicious, meticulously prepared, and worthy of a Michelin star! To add insult to injury: before we were hooked, the waitress rubbed salt in the wound with, "Despite your confusion when reading the menu, did you have a pleasant experience?" This was the last straw. A restaurant of this caliber shouldn't end on such a sour note with its customers and leave them with a less than enjoyable experience. As a result, we all left the restaurant not talking about the delicious dishes we had tasted, but rather about the overall customer experience. Nevertheless, I must emphasize that the rest of the staff were very professional and pleasant.

19/04/2026: My family and I ate there, and the experience was disappointing. The place is small and cramped; we were practically sitting next to our neighbors at the next table, and it was very noisy. The staff weren't particularly friendly, except for one young man whom I thank. The galettes were bland and tasteless. Being from Brittany, I've never eaten galettes like that. I had to add salt and pepper, which is unthinkable. The only positive point: the desserts. I think you should go there just to try them, but that's about it. Disappointed with this experience.

18/04/2026: Kreisker crêperie is one of, if not the best, crêperies in Montpellier. The crêpes are delicious and generous, the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is relaxed. I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good crêperie in Montpellier!

24/03/2026: I strongly advise against it. Too greasy. The grease dripped all over my jacket, there was so much of it. They must have had to shovel up the meat and all the fat from the spit. If you care about your health, steer clear. A snack to avoid.

The dishes are delicious, carefully prepared, and well-balanced, offering unbeatable value for money (under €20 per dish). It's brought a breath of fresh air to Place Jean Jaurès, and we're absolutely charmed! Thank you to the whole team for the service, and see you very soon!

12/04/2026: I'm increasingly disappointed with this pastry shop. The prices remain high, but the service is deteriorating. I go every Sunday morning, and they're missing basic items (croissants, pain aux raisins, etc.). Today, the waitress gave me a pain au chocolat instead of a croissant. That wouldn't be so bad if the products were good quality. But when I dipped the croissant in a cup of tea, it fell apart, making me think it was frozen. Furthermore, the size of the pastries is never consistent... You never see the manager on Sundays, which is supposed to be the busiest day... It's a shame.

30/04/2026: Honestly, a fantastic experience right from the first contact! I placed my order by phone and the woman was absolutely lovely. She took the time to explain everything calmly, with great kindness and patience. It's so refreshing to receive such a warm welcome, especially over the phone where it's not always the case. 06/03/2026: Delivery requested for 6:30pm, it finally arrived at 7pm, which is a real shame considering I pre-ordered at 4pm, but otherwise excellent as always!

15/04/2026: Everything is mass-produced; the cook simply opened cans without even bothering with the presentation. At first, I criticized the bread, calling it "Lidl bread," but by the end of the meal, it turned out to be the best ingredient.
