24/10/2025: I only know this restaurant for lunch. The food is certainly basic but perfectly adequate and does its job: lunch menu, we are not here for a gourmet meal! Pleasant atmosphere, especially university staff and students. Beautiful terrace on the sunny side, so often even in winter. The owner is a little gruff but the owner is adorable and puts on a good face. Fast and professional service. I go there often.

09/10/2025: It was the first restaurant I tried when I arrived in Montpellier three years ago. Despite not speaking French, the owner treated me wonderfully and was very friendly. The food was delicious: the meat, the pâté, and the salad. I think about this meal every day. I hope to eat here again soon. Thank you all ❤️🇲🇽

06/02/2026: The pasta was terrible... what a shame. The topping was quite bland, and the cheese was poor quality with no taste at all! It's a shame, the gentleman was quite nice... For that price, you can get a very good Neapolitan pizza cooked in a wood-fired oven.

08/12/2024: Not knowing Montpellier, I decided to stop to eat at NaturElle. I deeply regret this decision: between the display problem, the unpleasant servers and the meal that was not only cold, but not even cooked, the experience was disappointing. I forced myself to eat because I was really hungry, but considering the price and quantity, I would have been better off going to McDonald's. I strongly advise against this establishment.

06/12/2024: I strongly advise against it. We came to eat this afternoon. When ordering, there are display errors which are not even rectified. The employees speak curtly. We manage to decide, we have country paninis. We ask the waiter to sit at the table, he replies curtly that we should say so before next time. Are we supposed to guess? In short, when we arrived at the table, the paninis were cold, and the cheese had not melted. Advice ; go spend your money at Starbucks, at least they have learned to smile there.

21/06/2025: We really liked this shop. The welcome was warm and very friendly. The shop is very pretty, the tasting very nice, there is a lot of choice between pods, coffee makers and accessories. As I told the employee you are friendly, when I left I felt like I had bought a high-tech product because of the bag. We will return with pleasure. Too bad the location!

Received in the American style and coffee offered, but if you have a problem, there is no solution, and even the "manager" refuses you an intelligent and simple solution. The rules (stupidly applied) are the rules. As far as I'm concerned, a customer for several decades, I'm finished with Nespresso, and my daughter, who was refused the exchange of unusable capsules on my machine, was subjected to the same sanction. This is truly the attitude of intelligent and profitable business management. Losing two customers for refusing to exchange pods requested after the deadline, by a 97-year-old grandpa who doesn't understand???

21/02/2026: What a change!!! Since the takeover by the new management, we've finally found a very pleasant crêperie again... delicious dishes, delicious crêpes.... A big thank you for this enjoyable experience...

11/02/2026: At Crêperie de la Comédie, the only real comedy is the bill. The service was unpleasant and the welcome was decidedly lacking in warmth. The prices are too high for the quality served, which remains quite poor. In short, I agree with the other reviews: a very disappointing experience considering the prices charged.

20/02/2026: First time, and many more to come, because it was absolutely delicious. Convenient, clean, cozy atmosphere with traditional Chinese background music. Spotless restrooms. Charming ladies who serve you with pleasure and elegance. Eat in or take away. I truly enjoyed my favorite spring roll and bobun order. Definitely adding this to my list of places to eat for my next culinary adventures in Montpellier.

14/02/2026: I got takeout there twice, a year apart, and it wasn't very tasty. I wouldn't recommend it; I was disappointed myself, as I didn't remember it being like this. The ladies are very nice, but I won't be going back. :(

05/07/2025: Unfriendly welcome. Servers not attentive to our requests. Ordered a kebab without tomatoes and another without onions, both had everything in them.

12/02/2026: It's so pleasant to eat in a quiet restaurant serving traditional cuisine: it's rare in Montpellier! Other restaurants are usually noisy and offer dishes that try too hard to be original. Here, it's peaceful. The service is good, friendly, and prompt. The dishes are delicious. The focaccia has a truly soft texture; it's not just a pizza dough disguised as such. The brandade is fantastic, the melting Camembert is divine, and the steak tartare is excellent! A truly wonderful experience, and the overall rating doesn't reflect our enjoyment. I highly recommend it!

08/03/2026: Not up to 4-star standards... the room wasn't particularly clean, there was no kettle or welcome kit. The extra pillow was yellow and had no cover. There were a few hairs in the bathroom. The toilet seat doesn't stay closed when you sit on it. Breakfast was good, but the cutlery was dirty (we're not talking about smudges, but food residue stuck to it), and the glass wasn't clean either. The common areas are nice, but the rooms are not worthy of a 4-star rating. Similarly, the smell at the hotel entrance wasn't very pleasant. On the other hand, the staff was very friendly and helpful. For €140 a night, we'll stay somewhere else next time.

07/03/2026: We spent one night as a couple in a room where cleanliness left much to be desired: dirt on the floor, a bed sheet with a hole, and only one bath towel for two people. The heating fan was very noisy. One star for the friendly staff and one for the breakfast. Given the price of the room, we expected much better.

17/02/2026: Aggressive and condescending. He says the boss has been here for 23 years! Well, it's about time he retired, you old drunk. We didn't understand this awful welcome!

01/11/2025: Very disappointed. I used to come here regularly, but the quality of the food has really gone downhill. There was practically nothing on my plate. I ordered cuttlefish (supions), and I had to search for the few pieces I could find, along with two small potatoes cut into quarters and a sour tomato sauce. Not great. For dessert, I had a tiramisu. Meh! Runny and tasteless. It's a shame, it used to be very good. I won't be going back.
