In short, nothing to say, except our compliments to the chef, of course. Go for it!
04/05/2025: There were 3 of us, we tried 3 different dishes and 3 different desserts and we were all unanimous: it was excellent, original, full of flavors, we all enjoyed it.
The setting is intimate, calm, we had a great time.
The chef does everything himself, reservations, reception, taking orders, cooking, service, top organization and super-controlled management... All with a smile! Congratulations, go there with your eyes closed 👍

28/06/2025: We ordered a creme fruit tart and a lemon pie tart, a cold tea and a cappuccino. The fruit tart had had no passion fruit taste. The lemon pie lacked lemon taste. Each slice is €6... very expensive compared other cafes in the area. My cappuccino had a bitter taste, but I asked to make them again and they glady did. They showed a very good costumer service and the staff was very friendly, that's the positive of our experience. However I think they need to seriously improve their pattiserie products and they barista skills. They shouldn't charge that much until their quality is at the same level.

01/10/2024: This is a cute place conveniently open near Gare St Roch but I cannot say much for the food. I am a long time ramen fan from living in Hawaii, Los Angeles and New York and there is good ramen to be found in Montpellier. But not here. Yes it is noodles in a hot broth but the taste is nothing like traditional Japanese ramen — almost a curry taste rather than simple shoyu or salt style or more robust miso or tonkatsu. People same to like the food but if you are looking for traditional ramen don’t come here.

01/09/2024: Excellent experience, there are very few typical restaurants like this left, at a reasonable price with real taste on the plate. Everything is done by the gentleman, who welcomes us to the best. Warm, typical Greek restaurant, it's perfect for discovering Greek culinary culture. I recommend the cinnamon baklava for dessert and the mix as a starter so you can taste everything! Everything was really excellent, I will go back without hesitation.
13/07/2024: The food was delicious and the waiter excellent. Also the decoration is beautiful and it gives you vibes that you are in Greece.

22/09/2024: A very nice discovery! We arrived by chance and rather late, the owner received us very pleasantly. He was honest about the fact that his card had been emptied by his previous customers but we were tempted. It was a great meal! A very reasonable price and home cooking that reminds us of Sundays at Mom's.
In short, I recommend!

The food was tasty, and the service was on point. They have a broad wine section, and many tapas are vegetarian.
The lady is knowledgeable regarding the wine and incredibly accommodating.

24/09/2024: A magnificent setting and property, we walked in the gardens before eating and it was very pleasant. We don't feel like we're in Montpellier. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The dishes were excellent, very well presented... There is a shop where you can buy castle wines and local products. We will come back to visit the castle and taste these excellent dishes again. I recommend this address.

14/09/2024: One of my favorite places for lunch in Montpellier. Located inside (also with a small secluded outdoor patio) an antiques/collectible shop, the menu changes frequently with delicious plates and desserts. Prices are under 20 euro. Today I had Salmon Teriyaki with saffron rice and also shopped afterwards! Make reservations easily online and you won’t be disappointed.

10/05/2024: De passage à Montpellier nous avons découvert un lieu et l accueil sont rès sympa avec des chats spendides!
Les gâteaux sont fait maison et les cafés sont supers.
Bref si vous passez dans le coin je vous recommande" la maison des chats"
