31/01/2026: Okay, I ordered a two-meat taco meal (tenders and kebab) for €10.90. Awful! No flavor, no crispiness, nothing at all. Plus, the burger was an assault on my palate (tasting like duck confit that had been sitting in the fridge for three months). Then the fries—don't even get me started—frozen and salty. Then, a double cheeseburger: a cheap Charal burger that I couldn't even finish. And on top of that, a 20-minute wait when there was no one else there. In short, avoid this place.

20/01/2026: Their tacos are very good, but unfortunately, there's always an ingredient missing, whether it's the sauce or the extra topping. It's happened twice we've ordered... they tell us to come back in 30 minutes, but when we arrive, they're not ready, so we wait an extra 20 minutes there. No compensation offered... and they're not very friendly.

The setting is lovely thanks to the Jacques Cœur basin. The cuisine is simple, but always good, as you'll appreciate the generous portions. I recommend it. 04/03/2026: We found this quiet gem late during our time in Montreal, but we made up for lost time as best we could. Here is a place where the neighborhood gathers to savor simple yet deceptively complex and perfectly portioned meals (vegetables!), reasonably priced, that one wants and should eat daily. Like the proverbial apple, a lunch a day at le Dauphin keeps the doctor away – but also puts a smile on the face and lightens the heart. Bon appetit!

06/02/2026: Wow, a warm and welcoming place with generous cuisine 🙏 simple yet inventive, homemade food at such affordable prices (it still exists 🫶), it gets incredibly busy so booking is probably recommended, even though I was lucky enough to find a table ☀️👍 and the staff are lovely

26/01/2025: A respectable woman was refused entry to this establishment in a humiliating and discriminatory manner by the security guard. She felt a grotesque and demeaning personal judgment. This unacceptable behavior is contrary to the principles of respect and equality. She plans to file a complaint for discrimination. Avoid if you value a dignified and respectful welcome. 16/02/2026: A total immersion! The decor of Pirates Paradise is simply breathtaking; you feel like you're on a film set or in an adventure game. The entertainment is a real bonus, creating a unique atmosphere. As for the food, it's decent, but you're clearly paying more for the setting and the show than for fine cuisine. It's the ideal place for a family outing or for a truly spectacular experience. One drawback, however: the noise level can be quite high during the entertainment, which sometimes makes conversation difficult. Definitely worth doing at least once for a complete change of scenery!

The ambiance and the food at this restaurant go hand in hand, especially with our little ones who had a great time and ate very well.
