16/07/2026: We were just passing through and were seated with our little one a bit before opening time; the staff were very kind. For our meal, I had the foie gras pizza, which was absolutely delicious and generously topped. My partner had a veal escalope, and it was perfect for us. Thank you for everything, and I highly recommend it.

14/07/2026: We ordered two simple Romana pizzas for the teenagers, and they were generously topped. After the first bite, we were met with a "they're so good!" I highly recommend it; it's a great place.

06/09/2026: Very good restaurant, friendly staff. It was our first time here, on a friend's recommendation. I had a very good eggplant, tomato, and anchovy tartlet, a very good cuttlefish stew with black olives, melt-in-your-mouth cuttlefish, stuffed squid, and dessert. We will gladly return.

13/07/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews for restaurants. Generally, if I don't enjoy an experience, I simply don't go back. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about ten times. Admittedly, the food is always excellent, probably some of the best in Valras in terms of quality and taste. However, I've never found the owner particularly welcoming. Yesterday, I fainted on the beach, right across from the restaurant. Still feeling quite unwell, I asked if I could use their restroom just to splash some water on my face. The owner told me the toilet was blocked and sent me away without the slightest empathy. I didn't insist and left. So it's not the food I'm criticizing, but the lack of humanity I experienced at a time when I simply needed a little kindness. It's deeply disappointing.

27/08/2026: A couple of friends and I tried this restaurant, which had been recommended to me. It was a great choice; it's truly a wonderful place. The excellent, refined, and generous cuisine, the warm welcome, the service, and the pleasant dining room (with plenty of space between tables) are what make the Delphinium so charming. I highly recommend this restaurant and I can't wait to go back.

26/08/2026: A gourmet restaurant with a comprehensive and diverse menu, including some rare dishes. High-quality cuisine made with excellent ingredients. An extensive wine list with a wide selection at all price points. And impeccable service, just as you would expect from a fine restaurant.

30/08/2026: We came without a reservation... this restaurant/brasserie is really great... the colorful owner makes the rounds of the tables with a friendly, local manner... plus, the food is good and plentiful... the fish of the day... the gratinated mussels... the sardine rillettes... a very good local wine... and a smile to boot... we highly recommend it.

18/08/2026: Born in Valras, I return to this restaurant every year for the fresh sea bream tartare and the complexity of the dishes that make us feel pampered. Valras has been dying for a long time, which is why I'm leaving a review of my second favorite place. In a seaside resort, you don't want to spend your money on frozen food and mass-produced service. At Le Sépia, you're in the right place: gastronomic quality at the prices of the line-caught fresh fish restaurants of yesteryear. Unfortunately, I couldn't come this year during my visit, but I'm counting down the months until I can eat well again. We must support restaurateurs who maintain the love and quality of our local produce. I highly recommend it to lovers of stimulated taste buds; truly, bravo for persevering despite the changing tourism landscape. So, for those ready to enjoy a quality experience, it's simple: Le Sépia is among the three or four restaurants that still serve homemade, fresh, and affordable food. See you next year!

Regarding the frequently mentioned wait time: Yes, it did take a while – but after all, you want to enjoy a nice, relaxing evening, not be stuck in a fast-food joint. 😉 Our eleven-year-old son also ate the entire menu and loved it.
