13/07/2026: I'm not one to leave negative reviews for restaurants. Generally, if I don't enjoy an experience, I simply don't go back. My husband and I have eaten at this restaurant about ten times. Admittedly, the food is always excellent, probably some of the best in Valras in terms of quality and taste. However, I've never found the owner particularly welcoming. Yesterday, I fainted on the beach, right across from the restaurant. Still feeling quite unwell, I asked if I could use their restroom just to splash some water on my face. The owner told me the toilet was blocked and sent me away without the slightest empathy. I didn't insist and left. So it's not the food I'm criticizing, but the lack of humanity I experienced at a time when I simply needed a little kindness. It's deeply disappointing.

31/05/2026: We had a wonderful evening and the food was delicious. Francky took the time to greet each table, which we greatly appreciated. It was our first visit to your establishment, and it certainly won't be our last. We felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. We're actually planning to make a reservation for next Friday so my daughter and her wife can experience your restaurant for themselves.

22/05/2026: I chose this restaurant by chance, and I have no regrets! A superb welcome: a smiling, cheerful waiter and manager who took excellent care of us! The food was superb, with beautifully prepared dishes. It was a musical evening, and the saxophonist/singer was a great choice—a real treat for the ears. The restaurant is tastefully decorated. A very pleasant experience. Thank you to the whole team! I highly recommend it! 👌

15/05/2026: We were very lucky, as we were booked as a group of seven on a rather last-minute Wednesday evening! Everything was perfect, from the food to the service: the quality of the dishes, the portions, and the friendliness. It was wonderful to have a children's menu offering actual dishes from the regular menu, which is so rare elsewhere. They also lent us markers and coloring books to keep the children entertained. Thank you for this lovely family evening.

20/07/2026: The service was very good, we were seated quickly, and the staff was friendly. We ordered two cocktails that weren't very good, and we didn't like the presentation. The pizzas weren't great either; you could almost make better at home with store-bought dough. The mussels with Roquefort sauce were really good, but most of the mussels were empty...

29/06/2026: Usually very welcoming thanks to a lovely, smiling, and lively waitress, now we feel like we're bothering them. No smiles, and they didn't even finish our drinks that we had to clear up ourselves. I used to go there very often, even out of season when it was open, but that's over now. What a shame.

26/07/2026: To start with the positives, the food was very good, the value for money was excellent, around €35 ​​per set menu is perfectly acceptable, and as regulars of the restaurant for several years, I can't say I was disappointed in that regard. However, our visit this year was very negatively affected by the excessive wait between courses. Having arrived at 8 pm, we had to be patient until around 10 pm to even see our main courses. It's long, really very long, and it was much harder to appreciate the food after waiting so long... Having experienced faster service for the same quality in the past, I can't help but think the restaurant is going through a rough patch and that the staff is perfectly aware that the service they offer is far from ideal. However, it's hard not to be critical when we were never informed about the preparation of our food, received no apology for the wait, or even a word about it. I don't mean to sound harsh, but when a restaurant's wait forces its customers to change their evening plans and, above all, jeopardizes their enjoyment of the food, it's important to point it out! Finally, I feel it's important to add to the menu that the daily specials are an additional charge on top of the original set menu price, as the staff most likely forgot to mention this, and we were surprised to find out about it on the bill when we paid. 25/07/2026: The welcome was adequate, nothing more. The service was far too slow: starter, main course, and dessert took 2 hours and 45 minutes. That was a deal-breaker for us. The food itself was good, but it lacked that little something extra that makes all the difference (crunch, spice, etc.). It lacked originality. The monkfish was perfectly cooked, but the swordfish was way overcooked. Overall, I think this restaurant is overrated.

30/06/2026: It was my first time there. The meat was very tender and cooked perfectly, but the fries were a disaster. The cook won't be winning the international chip shop competition in Arras.
