Perhaps the clientele falls from the sky in the summer, thanks to the reputation gleaned in the past. But with such quality of service and the normal difficulties linked to a change of owners ⚠️, A reputation is preserved where it is lost. On this morning when friendliness and good nature were at half mast, we still had two different tables leave your terrace without consuming. We, who liked to end our Sunday stroll at your place, we are going to change route for a moment before coming back... or not.

28/08/2024: I occasionally had lunch at Le Cancalais in Saint-Malo, but my last experience was disappointing. Sitting on the terrace with a friend, I asked for a specific drink that the waiter didn't have, which wasn't a problem. I then ask him if he has a card, and he replies curtly: “I don’t have a card, and I don’t have the drink you’re looking for.” » I thank him, specifying that I had understood correctly from the first time, but his next response left me perplexed by its condescending tone: “I can answer all your questions though…”. When I ask him what else he can offer us, he persists with the same snide attitude, repeating that he can answer my questions. Finally, I decided to leave without using; out of the question of giving them my money after such a welcome. 27/09/2024: Very nice Asian girl at will! Lots of vegetarian choices, which is rare enough to note. Overall better than an average all you can eat restaurant 💛

19/09/2024: A classic but well-made Asian all-you-can-eat buffet, very friendly staff. We came on a weekday evening, it was very quiet and very pleasant.

12/01/2024: A very nice discovery! I always take the same thing: the famous marinated chicken skewers 😍 it’s killer! I always reserve my table during my business trips and this place has everything you need to make your lunch break pleasant. A magnificent imposing fireplace, the smell of grilled meats ☺️. 23/07/2024: Does not accept dogs, although even in more chic restaurants dogs are accepted. Especially a small dog who wouldn't have taken up any space who had to spend his time locked in the truck forced to open the windows despite the heat. Black fries soaked in oil, canned white beans, supermarket chocolate dessert from Liège like we have at home. In fast or roadside restaurants there are better.

12/06/2024: Unbeatable value for money! The starter buffet is quality and well stocked, the fries are excellent. The waitress is efficient, smiling and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant. I recommend !
