05/04/2024: We decided to try this little place at 8pm without reservation, of course, it was full for the night!
The owner and his daughter welcomed us warmly and they offered us to try to seat outside with some blankets and it was fine!
I was intrigued to read all the very positive reviews about the owners, still they surprised me, it’s 200% true!
Food was very good, probably one of the best in town, and definitely in my top 10 (I went on a best galette/crepe hunt).

04/04/2024: O P'tit Encas" on the "Plage des Bas Sablons" in Saint-Malo was extraordinary.
The traditional “Moules-Fries” were bursting with flavor, although larger mussels would have been ideal.
The Angus beef burger on local brioche with caramelized shallots was delicious.
The waiter, Louis, provided impeccable service, recommending the best of their menu as well as the exceptional local beer selection.
Despite the 20 minute walk from Intra-Muros, the experience was worth it.
For a memorable culinary experience in Saint-Malo, O P'tit Encas is highly and undeniably recommended!

Excellent grilled cuisine, impeccable service, the owner and the waitress are very friendly.
Superb plate of tapas as a starter and duck breasts for us.
It was hearty and succulent.
Our neighbors' meat plates weren't bad at all either.

06/04/2024: We had an excellent evening at Bistrot de Jean. First of all: the warm welcome from the team, the tastefully decorated place and above all… the quality of the cuisine!!! We feasted. Fresh and local products. Careful knowledge of the menu by the friendly waiter. It was difficult to make a choice, we took as many different dishes as possible per person to be able to taste as many as possible. Even the dressing was perfect! Best restaurant we've had in the area! Thank you all for the quality of your work, we will be back!

09/03/2024: À great place with creative artisanal French cuisine. It tasted fantastic and the decoration is very well tasted. Also I recommend greatly beers there. The service is very gentle and also speaks English. There is English menu as well, which shows great openness of the owner.

28/10/2023: Cooking fish to the best of the best - quite an art. The preparation of the dishes done before the eyes of the guests is a spectacle in itself and a little boost for the appetite... exquisite.

04/04/2024: We had a wonderful dinner here! I am gluten free & the staff was so accommodating & even provided a gluten free alternative to bread which I thought was very thoughtful. I ordered the 250g steak with salad, French fries & the parsley butter. It was so flavorful & delicious. I would definitely recommend for anyone who has a gluten allergy

Sunday April 31, 2024, Easter weekend
This is a restaurant that I recommend, their specialty is beef of French origin.
Our plates were plentiful, the service was friendly: as indicated inside (see my photos).
The boss Régis speaks informally to the customers and the boss speaks to you!
Table service by a server Manu who knows his products very well, gives you perfect wine advice etc...
A good atmosphere
You should think about booking in advance.

24/03/2024: Excellent address in Saint-Malo. Restaurant visited for the first time in February, I returned there this weekend and it confirmed my favorite. The pancakes and crepes are generous, prepared with good local products, a real treat, all served in a cozy and soothing atmosphere. Special mention for the Caramel Frangipane. Don’t hesitate to walk through the door of this charming little creperie, you won’t be disappointed.

03/04/2024: Started out with 6 fresh tasty oysters. Followed by delicious crab tacos. Then a super prepared stingray fillet with perfectly cooked vegetables. Desserts were pickled apples and cheese salad with apple sticks and field salad — both very well prepared. All in all, TOP ingredients and service — many thanks.
