Special mention for the naans and the house cocktail, which are excellent. A great place to discover Indian cuisine, I highly recommend it! 😊

17/04/2026: I came with a friend. It was very good, but we both got sick during the night and all day the next day. We called to let them know and were supposed to be contacted by a manager, which never happened. That's why I'm leaving this review. Furthermore, the service felt a bit rushed. The servers, while all very helpful and friendly, were in a hurry to clear the tables. On the other hand, the restaurant itself is very nice inside!

13/04/2026: This Indian restaurant has been around for over 25 years and seems to be frequented by both regulars and passersby like us, who enjoyed thalis at unbeatable prices: €46 for 3 people, drinks included, on a Sunday lunchtime. The chicken tikka masala and shahi korma were good and very generous portions; unfortunately, we didn't get a chance to try the desserts, so we'll have to come back!

25/04/2026: We were regulars. We went one evening, but the food wasn't the same as usual and wasn't good, it was tasteless. We thought it was odd… We went back a while later and it was the same, not good and tasteless. To be honest, I didn't eat it. They've probably changed chefs, and we really miss them!

25/04/2026: A very good experience at Taj Mahal. The staff is truly excellent: welcoming, smiling, and attentive throughout the meal, which clearly makes all the difference. The food is equally satisfying. The dishes are delicious, well-prepared, and served in generous portions. A reliable restaurant in Saint-Julien-en-Genevois. I highly recommend it.

10/12/2025: The food was good, but unfortunately, the experience was ruined by numerous mistakes in the order. I ordered a cheeseburger without salad: I received a chicken burger, with salad but no cheese. It was impossible for me to eat it. We also ordered a naan without onions, which actually had plenty. Finally, instead of the chicken tenders we were expecting, we received very spicy chicken drumsticks, which we also couldn't eat. Since we ordered takeout, we didn't check the order in the restaurant, and once we got home, it was too late to go back. In the end, on an order of over €30, we only got to eat the fries and drink the drinks from the set menu… It's a shame, because the food tasted good, but such a poorly executed order made the experience truly disappointing.

01/03/2026: Crispy rice? What are you talking about? Maybe a chicken tender cut into a thousand pieces, two spoonfuls, and then you're eating rice you can make at home for less than €1.30 per kilo! Unacceptable. However, I highly recommend Tasty Crousty: 69 Rue Paul Doumer, 78130 Les Mureaux.

Generous portions of delicious, homemade dishes, impeccable service, and the owner's kindness and passion for cooking! Don't hesitate to visit this little restaurant; it's a gem!

02/03/2026: I invited my mother to this restaurant for lunch on her 60th birthday in early February, and I absolutely don't regret my choice. The restaurant is just a stone's throw from Notre Dame and is very quiet. The welcome was truly excellent, the service quick and friendly, and the dishes generous and delicious. The prices are also more than reasonable. In short, we were delighted with our lunch at this excellent Indian restaurant, which we highly recommend.

09/03/2026: A slightly unexpected arrival just before the end of service, a warm welcome, and pleasantly surprised by the decor <3. A friendly welcome and a super sociable and nice waiter/bartender! One small complaint: no traditional masala chai (which is basically tea ;) and what do you mean we don't know it?? LOL Well, now I'm waiting for my little Pani Puri ahaha Thank you!

05/03/2026: This isn't our first time eating there. Yesterday at lunchtime, we called late to reserve a table. We were warmly welcomed despite our late arrival (1:30 pm), even though the restaurant closes at 2 pm. The food, service, and atmosphere were all top-notch! Honestly, there's nothing to say except "go without hesitation!"
