08/08/2024: We always try some Indian food wherever we find ourselves on our travels, and this restaurant was a short walk from our apartment so a natural choice.
Although we were the only table, extremely friendly staff put us at ease, and the food was really tasty. Nan breads were good, which I think is a very important part of any Indian meal, and all three curries were nicely spiced. For UK pallets the heat was low - even the vindaloo was very mild - but taste wise it was great.
Although a little walk away from the main centre of Vannes, I’d really recommend you give La Porte de l’Inde a try, especially if like us you were missing some Indian spice on your holiday!

14/08/2024: If you go to Vendome, don't hesitate for a second, the restaurant is family run, the gentleman does the service and the lady is in the kitchen.
They are truly from India and therefore the dishes served are absolutely delicious.
For me every time it is a real pleasure to come and taste these wonderful dishes from this magnificent country.
Without doubt one of the best restaurants in Vendome.

08/08/2024: Excellent ! The balance of spices is perfect, the rice very fragrant. The dishes are served in small chafing dishes and remain hot throughout the meal.
The decor is original and warm, the service impeccable.
In the menu, you will find a table which summarizes the allergens of each dish, it is very appreciated.
Special mention for the Cheese Naan: the best we have eaten.

23/09/2024: Menu complet, commandé par Uber Eats, en entrée je voulais tester les 2 spécialités de légumes : en fait des galettes frites sèches,et sans aucune saveur,
un plat principal où l’on a du mal à reconnaître le poulet, le tout servi en vrac,
sans aucune présentation,
Le tout pour 40 € … plus jamais ça
03/09/2024: I am extremely disappointed with my order placed at this restaurant. None of the dishes looked like what was shown in the photos. The shrimp dish, which should have contained several, had almost none, and the ones that were there were tiny, nothing like what was shown. The lentil dish was more like a tasteless soup than anything else, with barely a few lentils at the bottom. And what about the spinach dish which was exactly the same. Frankly, for an order costing €40, this is unacceptable. I will never order from them again, or from Deliveroo for that matter, who consider that this is not enough for a refund. I strongly advise against it!

23/09/2024: We hadden zin in Indiaas eten en troffen dit restaurant op zondagavond. Tot onze verbazing niet heel druk. Dat is jammer want de bediening is goed en gastvrij, de inrichting modern en schoon. Uit de keuken rollen louter heerlijke gerechten: Raita, mixed Pakora en als hoofdgerechten gamdas Shahi Korma en de vegetarische versie Sahi Korma. Samen met Basmati rijst en Naain brood een fantastisch diner.
Aanrader in Reims!
22/08/2024: Excellent food, with lots of vegetarian options. We had the Paneer Korma and the Bharta, with rice and a naan. Plenty of food for two.
The waiter was amazing and so was the rest of the staff. Highly recommended!

01/06/2024: Retour avec un collègue au Palais indien. Cette fois-ci nous testons le menu Rama : boisson entrée plat dessert pour 38€/pax.
Excellent rapport qualité prix !
Entrée bien servie avec différentes viandes accompagnée de cheese Naan.
2 plats à partager en quantité largement suffisante toujours au top côté épices et crémeux.
Et desserts au choix.
A ce prix là c'est vraiment nickel avec en prime le sourire de l'équipe.

08/08/2024: For me it is by far the best Indian in the region and elsewhere. We find simplicity, kindness, the desire to share. The cuisine is delicious and authentic with a scent of good spices from the country. It's all a question of taste but this restaurant is worth discovering

I recently visited this Indian-Nepalese restaurant and was delighted. The atmosphere is welcoming and authentic, and the staff is very friendly. The Nepalese momos and chicken tikka masala were delicious, with perfectly measured spices. Dessert, a creamy kheer, was the perfect finishing touch. A must-see place to discover the flavors of India and Nepal!

05/07/2024: Great Indian restaurant tucked away at the top of the town in a side street but definitely worth the walk. Great choice of food served and super friendly staff. Spices in the food were really nice plus rice and vegetables all cooked really well. Good choice of wine and beers. Well worth a visit.
