22/05/2026: Excellent place to eat Indian food in the 20th arrondissement of Paris. The staff is friendly and the cuisine is very refined. Give it a try, you won't regret it. Update: I went back today, 11 months later. The owner's welcome was average. The food was okay, but the dessert I was served, an Indian Khulfi ice cream, was unsweetened. When I told the owner, she took a piece to taste and confirmed that it was sugar-free. I thought she was going to bring me another one; I waited for several minutes, but nothing. I finally got up, paid, and left. I won't be going back.

23/05/2026: Excellent food takeaway was ready on time, quantities are large. One of only a few takeaways I use. Eating in fast and efficient service portions are not as big as the takeaway but still very good

20/05/2026: The service is very quick and polite. Food was delicious and came quickly and the atmosphere is incredible with then royal look inside with the style of the chairs and decor! It doesn’t look cheap, but it looks elegant.

06/05/2026: I went to this restaurant with my family. Dishes average €16-€18. I ordered the chicken masala: €16.50. Really expensive in my opinion for five small pieces of chicken (cooked on a skewer, I think) swimming in sauce with a little rice on a plate. I also had a garlic and cheese naan for €5. Neither the dish nor the naan tasted anything special. The floor was sticky, which makes me question the restaurant's hygiene. I won't be going back.

01/05/2026: "My Taj Mahal is hurting..." Where has the former quality gone? The naan, usually so good we ate it until we were sick, has become tasteless, with an elastic texture... Garlic and cheese naan... without any garlic or cheese flavor... Disappointingly presented dishes... The guardian angel of the place, "Madame Taj Mahal," who provided joyful and humorous service, ensured impeccable organization, and perhaps even the excellence of the dishes... was not there... Is this the explanation? Is it a temporary absence? If not... and the quality doesn't improve... then... it's the end of our beloved and celebrated Indian restaurant 😔😔😔

27/05/2026: I went there at lunchtime to order takeout. I ordered a large lamb biryani, a cheese naan, and a can of soda (€16). The biryani was good. The cheese naan was a little dry but acceptable. The service was quick.

08/06/2026: This is great news for the neighborhood! The Indiana Café in Bonne Nouvelle is a very good restaurant that offers excellent value for money. The atmosphere is always lively, the setting is pleasant, and it's a very reliable place to have a good time, whether for a drink or a meal. A sure bet where you're rarely disappointed, and one I recommend without hesitation.

04/05/2026: We ate at the all-you-can-eat restaurant and it was absolutely amazing. The spicy chicken was really delicious, there was a great selection, the restaurant was clean and nicely decorated, and the waitress was very friendly. We had a really enjoyable time.

03/05/2026: We went for dinner last night as a couple and frankly, the buffet was excellent and reasonably priced. I highly recommend it!

11/05/2026: Went there last night. Full of flies. Had to leave after 10 mins. Fed back to the owner who did not seem interested. We have been here before and the experience has never been so bad. I wonder if here has been a management change? Wouldn’t recommend!!

19/05/2026: The food was certainly not bad, and the setting was cozy. The service, however, was below par! Unfriendly, not a single smile from any of the four staff members; they just couldn't seem to get things done fast enough. We hadn't even properly finished our wine when a waiter appeared at our table uninvited with the bill! Without saying a single word, he took the card to pay, handed over the receipt, and disappeared again. We thought he might be deaf and mute... He truly didn't speak a single word! No "thanks" or "goodbye" from any member of the staff. They urgently need some lessons in friendliness and politeness! It is a real shame because the food certainly wasn't bad, but we won't be going back!

16/05/2026: An absolutely perfect experience! From the moment you step inside, you're captivated by the decor and ambiance, both warm and elegant. The service is equally remarkable: attentive, professional, with a special mention for our absolutely lovely waitress. As for the food, everything is simply delicious. It's refined, perfectly executed, with ideal portions. Each dish is a true delight. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant; I'll definitely be back!

While the atmosphere and cleanliness of the restrooms weren't quite perfect, it's a welcome change from the very poor quality of some Indian restaurants, especially in Vannes.
