18/01/2026: A very good experience; the dishes were delicious and full of flavor. The staff was incredibly attentive, which was much appreciated. The prices are a bit high, but the quality is definitely there. We highly recommend it and will gladly return.

02/05/2025: This is a Nepali restaurant. Wish they said this on their page. The Saag Paneer was basically whole sag leaves mixed with Paneer. This is typically how Nepali restaurants cook this. I ordered Uber Eats.

07/07/2025: For me, it's the best Tamil restaurant in Lourdes. I've tried a few restaurants there, but they all disappointed me.
The dishes were well-cooked and of good quality.
Fast service, no long waits.
I recommend it, and if I'm ever in Lourdes again, I'll definitely return.

14/10/2024: We had a very good experience at Welcome India. The food was really good and tasted like true Indian food. Dal makhani and naan were superb. The service provided was quite good too. We didn’t have any complains. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was fine. Had met the owner she was really sweet and welcoming. Highly recommended restaurant for all traveler's who enjoy Indian cuisine.

06/12/2025: Misled about the order, not enough sauce, too dry, and with both doors open in the middle of winter, forced to stand waiting for a table because the upstairs area was closed. We went to Smash, which is right across the street.

18/12/2025: Hello, you can't even be bothered to heed a simple recommendation when it says "NO ADVERTISING" in capital letters on a mailbox and you still put out flyers; for that alone you're getting a one-star rating. Have a good day!
09/12/2025: We got it Daal and paneer masala with naan, they delivered it to our hotel, it is halal but even if they say halal we still get vegetarian food from halal restaurants when abroad.
The food was great, I was shocked with the quantity, they gave us complementary rice with each dish ( I am not sure if that how it comes). The staff speaks English and Hindi, which made it super convenient.

We were a group of eight (including a heavily pregnant woman) undecided about whether to sit inside (very hot) or outside (risk of getting wet). The person in charge of the room simply told us we were "bothering him." He then became aggressive. We left and will never return.

23/01/2026: Having lived in Mauritius for many years and been accustomed to Indian food, I was skeptical about trying Indian cuisine.
My son loves it, so I decided to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did!
The food was excellent. The non-vegetarian thali was a delight of flavors. My lamb masala was beyond excellent.
The owner seems lovely. The establishment is well-run.
The value for money is impeccable.
I highly recommend this restaurant.

28/05/2025: Very bad experience with this restaurant today, staff were grumpy and unpleasant.
Really limited buffet, almost non-existent dessert.
This is definitely something to avoid, at least for me, it's the first and last time.
They wanted to charge a child under 2 who didn't even eat. It's unacceptable.
