17/07/2024: We are welcomed with a big smile. The advice is sound. We are not pushed or harassed. We are regularly asked if everything is okay with us. And the dishes are just delicious.

14/10/2024: We had a very good experience at Welcome India. The food was really good and tasted like true Indian food. Dal makhani and naan were superb. The service provided was quite good too. We didn’t have any complains. The overall atmosphere of the restaurant was fine. Had met the owner she was really sweet and welcoming. Highly recommended restaurant for all traveler's who enjoy Indian cuisine.

31/08/2024: Fast service, and very good food!

27/08/2024: We arrived without having booked and the waiter kindly found us a table for two, the welcome was impeccable, but I still advise you to book, we were lucky. As for the food, we opted for the meat samosa and two cheese nans as a starter. We were pleasantly surprised to discover three accompanying sauces which were sumptuous. For the main course, we had the lamb curry which was excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant, go there with your eyes closed!

14/09/2024: The food is always delicious and consistent. The restaurant has the advantage of being open very often, the atmosphere is serene. The welcome and service are perfect. Really good value for money on the Valence square.

19/08/2024: Uber order placed this afternoon. Dishes which are usually rather hearty are much less so today: €22 for 5 small pieces of chicken in a base of curry sauce and half-filled rice trays, €5 for cheese nan which lacks cow's milk who laughs without mentioning the missing sauces.... In short, quantities and quality that leave something to be desired and are not worth the asking price. The icing on the cake: we called the restaurant who, as a simple response, denied having had the order and told us that we had gone to the wrong restaurant!!!! As regular customers, we will think twice before turning to this establishment again.

19/08/2024: 5 small pieces of chicken and almost nothing rice for 22 euros. Almost no laughing cow in the Nan au fromage. I called to find out why the proportions had decreased so much and I was told that I was in the wrong restaurant... People are taken for cash cows now. You have lost regular customers. Damage...

02/11/2024: Excellent cuisine, passionate owner, smiling, truly interesting, lots of humor and a generosity that is rare to find: a homeless person came when we were eating, the owner offered him a pretty tray. Lots of humanity in addition to perfect service. We had a great time and our meals were delicious. I rarely leave reviews but… no choice but to give it Good luck to you

07/09/2024: 3 tables occupées, j'entre, je peux m'asseoir, si je ne veux pas déjeuner longtemps.. pas terrible comme accueil, enfin, je commande, un poulet sauce noix de cajou, on me propose du riz, j'accepte, une biere? il ne reste que la biere indienne, plus chère. Pas de Nan, le four est éteint. Bon, pour 15€50, j'espérais quand même un peu mieux: 3 (petits) pilons de poulet, une sauce orange, sans vrai goût, salée, et.. avec 3 cacahuetes se battant en duel.. pas une seule noix de cajou! Riz: fade,sans parfum. Vere de vin= OK... Quand j'ai signalé l'absence de noix de cajou de la sauce, la patronne a prétendu qu'elles étaient "cassées". Prend la cliente pour une andouille? Fuyez ce pseudo indien, il est aussi mauvais maintenant qu'il y a dix ans.. (j'avais espéré un changement!). Aussi: Je m'étonne de l'agressivité arrogante de la patronne, quand un commentaire ne lui convient pas (je viens de lire les commentaires sur internet google). Si les clients se donnent la peine d'écrire, c'est pour prévenir d'autres gens, et pour indiquer qu'il faut mieux faire. Pourquoi attaquer? Ca vous avance à quoi? Il y a au moins un tres bon indien à Angers, ouvert lui aussi depuis longtemps, vers le Jardin du Mail.

22/11/2024: Very attentive service and quality cuisine. The only downside is that the room has no soul and doesn't look at all like what you'd expect from an Indian restaurant.

15/11/2024: At first, the welcome was not very warm and the staff laughed, which created unease between us. Although the food was very good, the value for money was disappointing for a first experience at this restaurant. The €16 lamb dish was very small, with only four small pieces of meat, even smaller than my morning bowl of cereal. Fortunately, we had rice as a side dish, but we had to pay extra for it. I found it very expensive for the small quantity we had. I do not recommend it and will not return. It's a shame for you because the dishes were nevertheless very good.
