27/02/2026: The pig on the logo, a sign "hot sauce here is spicy", Italian decor, 3 different bottles of oil on the table... the atmosphere is there, I can't wait to eat a good ham and cheese pizza. After looking at the pizzas, I chose the first one with pork (there are very few tomato-based options), the Spalla Cotta. I expected more choices given the logo, but that's just a minor detail. No need to reserve, which is a plus, but it also meant the restaurant was very crowded. The first negative point was that we didn't receive our pizzas at the same time, even though there were only three of us. The pizzas arrived, they were generously portioned and looked quite appetizing, well-topped despite the thin crust. However, my Spalla Cotta was a mixed bag. The ham seemed to have been simply placed on top and was cold. It was very generous, but unfortunately, it lacked cohesion, with too little cheese and tomato. The most annoying thing was the uneven cooking of the pizza, the lack of aroma, and the "hot" sauce that wasn't spicy at all, considering the expiration date. I suppose the oil needs to be added gradually... For pizzas with a crème fraîche or cheese base, the undercooked pizza is more forgivable, and enthusiasts will surely appreciate the al dente texture, but for me, the experience was mixed, not to mention the waiter's discreet winks at my partner... In short, you can certainly have a good time on their terrace in the summer for a light snack or a light meal during the week before heading back to the office, but for me, I was quite disappointed; it's not very appealing for Italy.

05/12/2025: Your restaurant is good. It's a shame the website says it's open when it's almost never open except for a few days, and even then it's rare. They just need to change the area where it says it's open. On the internet, they should say it's closed.

15/11/2025: From the very first minute, we felt incredibly comfortable here. The staff is unbelievably friendly, attentive, and efficient. You truly feel welcome and valued as a guest. But most importantly: the food was absolutely delicious! We enjoyed a variety of Italian specialties, and everything—from the appetizers to the pizza and pasta—was freshly prepared and of outstanding quality. A true Italian culinary delight that leaves you wanting more. In short: "Il Giardino" is the perfect combination of authentically good food and wonderfully friendly service. If you're in Lège-Cap-Ferret and craving Italian cuisine, you absolutely must eat here! Highly recommended and a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars! 🇮🇹💖

16/11/2025: Mixed feelings... We came in the middle of August. A table of 5 adults and a child, initially planning to have a drink and then a meal. We waited patiently for our order to be taken, adding a carafe of water if possible, as we had been waiting for 30 minutes (it was 43°C that day). It was very slow to arrive despite three reminders and the help of the colleague who takes care of the rubbish in the room across from us on the left. So we stopped at the aperitif, which was a shame... IN SUMMARY: I think it's best to avoid busy days.

12/10/2025: What can I say... My husband had a pizza (it's more like a bland pie) and I ordered a burger... The dough is soggy, bland, and I won't even mention the topping, which frankly leaves something to be desired. Regarding the burger, I was surprised when I couldn't even ask for a specific cooking time because the burgers are frozen. For the price, it's borderline audacious. Since we were still hungry, we decided to have dessert... what a mistake when we realized that even the crepes are FROZEN and perfectly thin. For the price, we were quite disappointed; for a few euros more, you can enjoy yourself elsewhere. Regarding the welcome, thankfully, some are friendly, because others frankly leave something to be desired. AVOID.

11/02/2026: I'm not usually one to leave reviews. But when something's good, you have to say so. The chef is very friendly. It's quick. It's fresh. It's delicious. Top-notch, I highly recommend it.

29/01/2026: Here you'll find the best hot chocolates in Bordeaux. Available in a multitude of varieties; chocolates made with different origins and flavors, or simply flavored. Delicious, high-quality, and comforting; that's everything you could hope for in a truly great hot chocolate. Their price is therefore justified. The pastries are just as excellent.

11/01/2026: I came to this place to work (with my laptop) for about an hour. Big mistake, because this place doesn't allow laptops, tablets, or even small work meetings with colleagues. I'd already ordered, what a shame. Not having a book with me, I found myself slightly at a loss. Only art collection catalogs were available, not even the good old newspaper they used to offer in cafes! 🤨 So, I was left with meditation or prayer. There is a small warning on the door outside, but I hadn't seen it because it's off-center from the menus and other information. So, I had to wait. Alone. Yes, alone, because I was alone, while the surrounding tea rooms were overflowing with people. I confess I don't quite understand the concept ⁉ As for the Liège coffee I ordered, it was simply served in a glass. At that price, I expected a nice mug with a good handle to avoid burning myself and getting my fingers dirty with spills. Finally, I'm posting this little comment to warn you: - If you're alone, bring a newspaper or a book. - If you're with friends, be careful that your conversations don't turn into a business meeting. In short, in any case, go in knowing what to expect!

01/03/2026: The staff was unbearable. We entered the shop at 6:45 PM to order pizzas. The person behind the counter didn't even respond to our "good evening." And when we asked what time we could have our pizzas, they became aggressive. Being there off-season and just passing through, we were shocked and disappointed. Perhaps the pizzas were good, but the service was appalling!

22/09/2025: 1 star instead of 0. It would be good to update the opening hours. I paid a taxi specifically to come, €60 round trip, only to find the door locked!

16/09/2025: A very pleasant place with a large terrace. We had a plate of 12 oysters and a platter of fuet and cod pâté, all very delicious and the service was excellent.
