21/10/2025: Very nice hotel with a very warm welcome. The meal was perfect, and the young waiters were very friendly. I had a wonderful evening.
The only downside: the heating in the room was a bit noisy.
The bedding was impeccable!

15/10/2025: Reservation for lunch! We discovered a lovely shop in a medieval village to visit! The dining room is surrounded by jars, bags of biscuits and other things! Chestnuts, honey, jams, Pouget soups, all the local products of the area are gathered there, including lemonades, wine and craft beers! For lunch: meat pie or trout, crumble and other tasty sweet dishes! Everything was delicate and delicious! Bravo!
29/09/2025: Superb shop and restaurant on a sublime site... everything is delicious, handmade. The counter offers you lots of local products... a place not to be missed... we were delighted

The setting is very pleasant, in the middle of a fabulous location.
The €23.50 set menu was truly delicious and generous, from the appetizer to the dessert, including the cheese course!
You can tell the chef is passionate, working with his own produce (vegetables, meats, charcuterie, etc.).
The welcome was fantastic.
We thought there were no more little gems like this in France >>>WRONG!!!! There's Auberge des Laubies.

18/01/2026: Our entire team received a very warm welcome from the family at the Lion d'Or. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the cuisine is high-quality, fresh, and seasonal. I highly recommend this establishment, ideally located for exploring the Aubrac plateau.

25/08/2025: A small evening meal at this inn. A warm welcome, simple and delicious cuisine. The farm produce is delicious and inexpensive. Originally from Lorraine, I found the mirabelle plum tart delicious! ;-)

09/07/2025: We spent 2 days at the hotel. The hosts welcomed us very well, as did all the staff at the hotel and the restaurant where we ate the first evening. The meal was EXCELLENT! We had the beef and the venison, and both dishes were cooked perfectly. We also booked an hour of spa time and a massage, which were very much appreciated! In short, a very good stay, we recommend it!!

24/11/2025: We stopped at this restaurant by chance at lunchtime and it was a pleasant surprise. The set lunch menu (starter, main course, dessert) was generous, tasty, and inexpensive. The service was warm and welcoming.

04/11/2025: It had been at least 20 years since I had returned, and it was still just as good, beautiful room, magnificent breakfast room, same for the restaurant, only slight drawback is the menu is not cheap, however the food is delicious.
