26/05/2026: Nothing to complain about except that it's delicious. The products are local and very fresh; I'll definitely go back!

16/05/2026: We received a very warm welcome, with a bowl of water brought immediately for our dog. The food was very good, with a simple menu but well-prepared, homemade dishes. The wine was reasonably priced and there was a wide selection, as were the beers.

11/06/2026: Don't judge a book by its cover: Sylvie might seem a bit rough around the edges, and the staircase leading to the rooms could easily put you off. In fact, while not luxurious, the rooms are perfectly adequate and spotlessly clean, and Sylvie is absolutely lovely, taking excellent care of her guests. Her cooking is delicious and very (perhaps too?) generous. The hotel is very well located. So, you can book a stay at the Hôtel des Genêts without hesitation.

08/05/2026: During a long weekend in the area, we stopped for lunch at this lovely little restaurant. One person was managing everything, and despite only about ten tables, the service and the food were excellent, with perfect timing. We highly recommend it. 😊😊😊

Excellent cuisine; the steak was a delight made with local meat, and they also serve trout with almonds, tartiflette, and pizzas. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal 😋. Traditional atmosphere. It doesn't deserve the Google rating; this restaurant truly deserves support!

22/04/2026: I contacted them, then followed up two days later, to make a reservation for a group of 16 people. I was told there was a wedding on the scheduled day and that they would call me back. Six days later, I'm no longer waiting... They must be very busy; they must be very busy... The least they could do is reply.

09/06/2026: The guy was was obviously short staffed so decided to deal with it by avoiding eye contact with the customers Main course took an hour to arrive 40 minutes after finishing, the main course remained on our table. I caught his eye but 5 minutes later still there Despite having a third course included in the set menu I gave up and just paid the bill. No apology offered, no suggesting of knocking off the cost of the third course Food that we had was okay. You don’t come to the Cevennes for a culinary experience.
