14/11/2025: It's an exception in this city where prices are outrageous: this restaurant is delicious, affordable, with succulent couscous (and other dishes too), it's refined and elegant, the pastries are to die for, and even the mint tea is good, without being overly sweet. Lovely decor and 5-star service. Go there!!

18/10/2025: I went to eat couscous, which my mother loves. It was delicious. It's delicious just as is, but they also have a spicy sauce that you can add to your liking, so I ate it with a little bit of the spicy sauce. It was absolutely delicious.

26/10/2025: Very clean hotel, competent, helpful, attentive, and friendly staff. Hearty breakfast, very good food, varied selection. A very pleasant stay despite the rain. Thanks to the entire team.

25/10/2025: Let's be honest, the hotel is dated, but the rooms are extremely clean, and the shower is brand new with a multi-directional jet of water that's a real treat. The lighting in the room is so bright you feel like they're trying to X-ray you. There's probably a button somewhere that fixes that (problem). Then there's the restaurant, in a word, fantastic. The dishes (both local and international) were absolutely top-notch. Both in terms of taste and presentation, they were a real treat. The house wine was delicious, and the espresso was typically French; they simply can't do that. If you stop at any gas station in Spain or Portugal, you'll just get a liquid bonbon. In France, you just can't do that. Breakfast? Totally my thing, simple, but if the croissant is top-notch, I'm happy. No cheese, no cold cuts, and no eggs—just the way the French experience it. Two very charming ladies, both in the restaurant and at breakfast, and you're off on your way with a wonderful feeling. I wandered around the area a bit after dinner and saw that they were the only restaurant that was packed, which speaks volumes, I think. One more thing about Aligot: I remember them pulling cheese strings up to the ceiling, while I think this one has been adapted a bit for tourists. Will I be back? If I'm ever in the area, definitely.

27/06/2025: I have never seen such an ugly and poorly garnished pizza, not to mention the bases for the children's menus which are tagliattelle (not at all suitable for children) price on Facebook page not up to date. The extra egg that was paid for is missing from the pizza. No receipt provided... We wonder why? Run away, you will regret it

10/12/2025: Hello, You absolutely must stay at this hotel. Everything is done for your comfort. And above all, eat at the restaurant... The calf's head with the local wine served by the glass and the pavlova are a real treat... Thank you to the entire team, from reception to the housekeeping staff...

28/01/2026: What an amazing place! The half-pints are cheap and the glasses are generously filled. The owners are incredibly friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and the food is fantastic!

01/11/2025: In short, a table of 6 on a Friday night (2 adults, 4 children), despite the bar being busy, the welcome was fantastic, the service was quick, and the food was very good! The burgers were really great...and the fries...and the tiramisu (to die for)! Wow! Bravo to the chef! 👏 In short, a really nice little restaurant that's worth the trip.

11/11/2025: Hello, We are writing to express our dissatisfaction as we are regular customers of this establishment, particularly with our band Mustang. Our dissatisfaction may stem from the staff being different. Firstly, despite having a reservation the day before, the table wasn't ready! Surprising... We were celebrating my mother-in-law's 90th birthday discreetly, ordering a bottle of champagne which took a while to arrive, but was followed very (too) quickly by the menu, leaving us no time to enjoy it... While the service is usually very attentive, this time it left much to be desired (clearing the dishes, providing fresh cutlery, etc.). What a disappointment for us, as we used to recommend this place. And to top it all off, after a trip to the restroom, a young waiter told the manager, "We can't stay here much longer!" She then came over to tell us to leave because they were closing. Unheard of! It was disappointing that a table with many guests was only served dessert... 23/02/2026: The restaurant served me a Margherita pizza with ham. The owner told me that the Margherita contained ham, and I replied that it didn't. He wouldn't listen and simply charged me for the pizza, even though he clearly saw that my son only ate one slice. The service was very cold; the owner only seemed interested in customers he knew. He saw that I was just passing through but didn't offer me a coffee or any other drink. The restaurant was practically empty, and I understood why.

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very noisy in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster. Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

14/10/2025: In the pedestrian heart of Mende. Nice setting and original decor. Very friendly waiter and owner! Delicious knife-cut tartare with high-quality meat! Excellent value for money. We would have loved homemade fries... so we'll be back 😉

23/09/2025: Great food and service. The burgers were fantastic and the choice of music was great lots of old rock music, brilliant!

26/08/2025: Avoid at all costs! Instead of pork cheeks, we were served a piece of fat with pieces of filet mignon! We only paid half the bill, but still! It's an insult to French cuisine

23/08/2025: It's tiring to see all these Top Chef comments: a restaurant has a profit motive, remember there are staff to pay. So those who think it's cost price are lost.

01/02/2026: We had car trouble very early this morning. We were freezing. The waitress warmly welcomed us into the café before opening time, in the sweltering heat. We noticed that she greeted the locals with a thoughtful touch for everyone. This person is very important to the village. She brings so much life to the place. She also taught us a new word that we'll try to use in the future. Thank you again for everything! You're a sweetheart!
