13/11/2025: Pleasant hotel. Ground floor room with a large bed and terrace. Charming welcome. Good value for money.

24/04/2026: We spent two days at this establishment and everything was perfect: the food and service. The staff were excellent. We will be back.

04/09/2026: It's unacceptable not to be able to access the toilets late in the evening, especially when the terrace is full and they're serving drinks. Furthermore, the waiters are more often on cigarette breaks than serving customers (except for one).

02/05/2026: The restaurant was too noisy; I would have preferred the waiter to tell us we were full when we made the reservation. The service was mediocre due to a large table. It took too long. The meal was average and heavy. For 3 euros and 10 cents, there's an excellent restaurant in Aumont. The service and quality were impeccable.

29/04/2026: Restaurant review only Fast and efficient service, despite being quite busy. A wide variety of high-quality dishes, a great selection, featuring local ingredients. The portions are perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

20/08/2026: The only restaurant open on August 16th, we stopped by for dinner. The welcome was surprising; it was quite different from what we were used to. We ordered the €22 set menu, which is similar to Parisian prices. It was acceptable, but nothing special. There's potential here with all the hikers who pass through the area. It's a real shame not to capitalize on this opportunity. They should almost suggest Philippe Etchebest film a show about it; it's exactly the kind of concept they're looking for. Best of luck.

20/08/2026: A very pleasant break during a hike, stopping for dinner at the restaurant. The waitress was very welcoming and the meal was delicious. You can tell it's a local spot, a place to meet up, which creates a great atmosphere.

16/09/2026: Based on the reviews, we hesitated to eat there, but we have no regrets. A very pleasant discovery; we ate well, the portions were generous and delicious. Warm welcome.

10/09/2026: A warm and friendly welcome despite our late arrival (1:45 pm), and we were shown a table in the shade of the plane trees in the central square with our car parked nearby. An €18 set menu included a generous Caesar salad, followed by herb sausage served with a generous portion of fresh fries (blanquette for my wife), and a huge plate of profiteroles for dessert, smothered in hot chocolate and whipped cream. A quarter-liter of wine and two coffees were also included. A generous, delicious, and very affordable meal, with a packed terrace! Is it really possible to eat so well for such a reasonable price? Many restaurants should take note. Thank you for this excellent experience!

23/08/2026: We had a very good time, excellent service, and a delicious meal. There were six of us, and we highly recommend this restaurant.

22/08/2026: We came for lunch today. At first, the welcome was adequate, but afterwards, as soon as we sat down, they asked us for our drinks. After our meals (which were served an hour later), they didn't even know what we were bringing. We had to ask several times for certain things. After two and a half hours at the restaurant, we asked for the bill (which, to top it all off, was a €30 error in our favor). No smiles and no friendliness whatsoever. In short, I absolutely do not recommend it.

01/07/2026: A really friendly place, and the food was excellent!

19/06/2026: What a disappointment this dinner was! The salads (which cost as much as a main course) were practically empty, barely enough for a starter. The desserts were mass-produced, and the bread was stale. The setting is unusual, but that's understandable given that the place transforms into a nightclub at night. Luckily, the waitress was very friendly!

16/09/2026: I went there tonight with my other half, and it was fantastic! Full plates, smiles, great atmosphere, well done boss, and see you soon, little Charentais!

11/09/2026: This restaurant may well be perfectly OK... but so surly was the reception from the lady at the counter when we enquired about a table that we decided not to bother and found somewhere else. However busy it may (or may not) have been, I don't appreciate being made to feel someone is doing us a big favour by accomodating us. Suggest they need look up in the dictionary the meaning of the word 'hospitality'.

09/07/2026: I'd like to recommend it, but it's closed too often! I'll update my review when I get a chance to try it, but it doesn't seem like haute cuisine...

24/05/2026: A highly recommended inn, right in the village center and exuding authenticity. The welcome is friendly, the meal thoroughly satisfying, and the rooms perfect. The decor is understated yet elegantly charming. Well done! Fse

17/09/2026: Good food, friendly service, but the meat portion was too small: only a small slice of country ham and two tiny slices of bacon in the Mende fondue 😟

15/09/2026: The meat was perfectly cooked! The fries were also delicious and not greasy. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. We loved it!

11/04/2026: A great place to stop on a long road trip. The hotel is adjacent to the highway. Conveniently located. Despite the proximity to the highway, the rooms are quiet. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. The food in the restaurant is very inexpensive by French prices and, most importantly, delicious and beautifully served. The staff is friendly and smiling. We arrived late at night at 10:20 PM, despite the late hour and the staff being tired from the day, we were greeted with a smile and fed, even though it was late. Excellent breakfast and a very nice atmosphere in the bar. We didn't expect a roadside hotel to be so clean, cozy, and excellent value for money. And most importantly, it is open for check-in until 10:30 PM.

18/09/2026: An absolutely perfect experience, even better! From the welcome to the dessert, everything was delicious. The staff were accommodating and very welcoming. The food was generous and flavorful, a pure delight in every way. And the price is unbeatable… A thousand thanks!!! ❤️🙏🏻
