14/11/2025: It's an exception in this city where prices are outrageous: this restaurant is delicious, affordable, with succulent couscous (and other dishes too), it's refined and elegant, the pastries are to die for, and even the mint tea is good, without being overly sweet. Lovely decor and 5-star service. Go there!!

18/10/2025: I went to eat couscous, which my mother loves. It was delicious. It's delicious just as is, but they also have a spicy sauce that you can add to your liking, so I ate it with a little bit of the spicy sauce. It was absolutely delicious.

01/11/2025: In short, a table of 6 on a Friday night (2 adults, 4 children), despite the bar being busy, the welcome was fantastic, the service was quick, and the food was very good! The burgers were really great...and the fries...and the tiramisu (to die for)! Wow! Bravo to the chef! 👏 In short, a really nice little restaurant that's worth the trip.

06/06/2026: It's a disgrace that the external inflator has had a faulty inflation nozzle for a long time, but nothing has been done to fix it.

14/06/2026: Lunch with my wife. Alte on the Camino de Santiago. We had booked because of the restaurant's reputation. The experience lived up to expectations. Super efficient service, top-notch food. The charcuterie board was both beautifully presented and featured excellent products. The Abrac beef melted in your mouth. Aligot served hot in a pan. Profiteroles with choux pastry and homemade hot chocolate. A nap was definitely in order before continuing our hike. A truly wonderful place. A must-visit in my opinion.

07/06/2026: Avoid this place at all costs! The waiter was not only incompetent but also rude. He said, "I don't take orders for the bar." We waited 30 minutes and no one came to serve us. Stay away from this place!

29/01/2026: It's more like a two-star than a three-star hotel. I was given a supposedly luxury room without being told it was a special room for disabled guests. While I have nothing against disabled people, it would have been helpful to be informed beforehand. The rooms are mediocre and often very noisy in the morning showers, with no hot water – in short, a disaster. Not to mention the noise from the upstairs neighbor until midnight, when it sounded like she was moving furniture. The reception was pleasant enough, and the hostess isn't to blame, but overall, not a great experience.

16/05/2026: A lovely spot where you can really feel the importance placed on quality, locally sourced products. The menu is enticing from start to finish. The whole team is welcoming, smiling, and pleasant; you feel right at home from the moment you arrive. A wonderful takeover that has truly breathed new life into the place, in a friendly atmosphere. I can't wait to enjoy the terrace when the weather gets warmer; I highly recommend it! 😊

09/05/2026: Reopened a week ago. Good momentum. We received a warm welcome. The burgers are made with local ingredients. It makes you want to come back.

04/05/2026: The duck breast was incredible, the portions were generous and really good. The waiter was welcoming. We had a very good lunch. One of the few restaurants open on Mondays in Mende. Highly recommended.

30/05/2026: A very pleasant stop on the Camino de Santiago. We received a very warm welcome. The room and bathroom were very clean with a magnificent view of the bell tower. Dinner and breakfast were plentiful and delicious. We enjoyed playing darts to relax. Thank you very much!

13/05/2026: Friendly welcome but expensive for frozen food, very disappointed

21/06/2026: The duck confit was expensive and tasteless. €18 for a leg that was reheated several times because it was very dry, with white rice and a single slice of tomato instead of the advertised vegetables! A meal like you'd get in a school cafeteria. Disappointing.

07/06/2026: We sat outside on the terrace in beautiful lounge furniture to take a break during our walk.

27/04/2026: With no bakery or convenience store open, we grabbed a quick lunch, arriving at 1 p.m. and leaving 40 minutes later for a 2 p.m. appointment. The waitress and cook were impeccable, the galettes were cooked perfectly, and the filling was just right. It's a shame we couldn't stay longer to enjoy the peace and quiet by the river.

26/10/2025: A very pleasant stay, a very warm welcome from Mélissa. I've been here three times, trying out the rooms and the bungalows. The golf course is well-maintained with a varied course, and the lessons with Julie ASSENAT are friendly.
