13/08/2026: I tried the beef tataki, which was good. I'm not sure why the accompanying fries were dark brown; why don't they make fries golden brown anymore? Fries are normally golden yellow. Friendly service.

07/08/2026: Don’t Be Fooled by the Google Reviews!! We chose this restaurant on the last day of our Paris vacation because we wanted to enjoy a typical French meal. Based on the Google reviews, we expected a good experience, but unfortunately it turned out to be one of the most disappointing meals of our trip. I rarely write negative reviews, but I hope this helps others make an informed decision. We ordered a steak and a cheeseburger, specifically requesting the burger to be well done. Instead, it arrived medium rare. The steak was extremely tough and chewy, making it difficult to cut even with the steak knife. The fries served with both meals were the worst we’ve ever had—dark, soggy, and soaked in oil instead of being crispy and golden. The service itself was okay, but when we raised our concerns, the owner/manager told us it was because of the type of potatoes they use and that this is simply how fries are served in Paris. We found that explanation hard to believe after enjoying excellent, crispy fries at many other restaurants during our stay. We also noticed other customers returning their food while we were there, which suggested our experience wasn’t an isolated incident. Constructive feedback helps businesses improve, but only if they’re willing to acknowledge the issues. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this restaurant.

22/07/2026: I had a good time, the food was good. But I just realized I paid €62.40 for a half-pint of Unicorn Blonde beer, a half-pint of Unicorn Amber beer, a steak for €23.90, an ice cream sundae for €9, and a 50cl pitcher of rosé wine???

02/05/2026: The restaurant was too noisy; I would have preferred the waiter to tell us we were full when we made the reservation. The service was mediocre due to a large table. It took too long. The meal was average and heavy. For 3 euros and 10 cents, there's an excellent restaurant in Aumont. The service and quality were impeccable.

29/04/2026: Restaurant review only Fast and efficient service, despite being quite busy. A wide variety of high-quality dishes, a great selection, featuring local ingredients. The portions are perfect, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

18/07/2026: Unpleasant manager. No credit cards accepted for purchases under €10... which I can understand for a business that isn't very busy. The manager adds... "I make €3,000 a year doing this..." (by not taking credit cards... he'd already told us this for two glasses of wine). He adds... "a little cash..." I don't want to misinterpret that! Then there's the waiter who has to hold the bottles for him to open them while his other hand is free. All of this leaves a bad impression, which is also confirmed by other friends.

12/07/2026: The restaurant was filthy inside, with a pile of dirty glass on the counter and plates returned from other tables piled on top of a table as we entered. We ordered fries that never arrived. My daughters' meal plan included a frozen Mister Freeze that expired in March 2026, and it's now July 2026. We didn't order dessert because of the long wait for our food to clear. The owner was taking a cigarette break while the terrace was full.

18/08/2026: Good restaurant, good atmosphere, reasonable prices, nice food, well located on the central square under the plane trees. It's a bit of a shame that they dismantle and pack away the terrace while we're still seated at our table!

13/08/2026: Great for a drink. Lunch is very basic. Evening service ends early, around 8:30 pm, due to staff shortages in August 2026.

01/11/2025: In short, a table of 6 on a Friday night (2 adults, 4 children), despite the bar being busy, the welcome was fantastic, the service was quick, and the food was very good! The burgers were really great...and the fries...and the tiramisu (to die for)! Wow! Bravo to the chef! 👏 In short, a really nice little restaurant that's worth the trip.

14/06/2026: Lunch with my wife. Alte on the Camino de Santiago. We had booked because of the restaurant's reputation. The experience lived up to expectations. Super efficient service, top-notch food. The charcuterie board was both beautifully presented and featured excellent products. The Abrac beef melted in your mouth. Aligot served hot in a pan. Profiteroles with choux pastry and homemade hot chocolate. A nap was definitely in order before continuing our hike. A truly wonderful place. A must-visit in my opinion.

10/06/2026: Excellent value for money and a great atmosphere

08/07/2026: Family meal, neutral opinion but exorbitant prices, especially for a piece of sausage with fries and mushroom sauce at... €22.50. And then an extra €3 if you order aligot, I think that's clearly outrageous, especially considering it's a local specialty, so there's no need to inflate the prices (it's not like the product comes from the other end of France with added costs). That's my opinion. A bit disappointed by these "tourist" practices.

02/07/2026: For guests with reduced mobility, this isn't the place for you! There's only one accessible room, and it's not actually accessible. It's impossible to get into bed because there isn't enough space between the walls and the (sealed) bed for a wheelchair. This didn't seem to bother them too much. Otherwise, it's a beautiful place with a stunning view and a very nice restaurant.

14/05/2026: Clean hotel, welcoming and friendly staff, very comfortable bedding, full breakfasts, easy access from the motorway

11/04/2026: A great place to stop on a long road trip. The hotel is adjacent to the highway. Conveniently located. Despite the proximity to the highway, the rooms are quiet. Large, comfortable, clean rooms. The food in the restaurant is very inexpensive by French prices and, most importantly, delicious and beautifully served. The staff is friendly and smiling. We arrived late at night at 10:20 PM, despite the late hour and the staff being tired from the day, we were greeted with a smile and fed, even though it was late. Excellent breakfast and a very nice atmosphere in the bar. We didn't expect a roadside hotel to be so clean, cozy, and excellent value for money. And most importantly, it is open for check-in until 10:30 PM.

14/07/2026: Friendly and efficient service. We took a seat in the shade on the terrace in a small street. Free fresh water was provided, just like everywhere in France. The pizzas were delicious. Well-topped and with a wafer-thin crust. Highly recommended!

06/07/2026: We had a very pleasant time at La Table Ronde (open since 1988). The pizzas were excellent, generously topped, with quality ingredients and a crispy crust :) We especially loved the Huguenotte pizza! The setting is charming on this typical Ispagnac street with its village atmosphere, and the staff is very welcoming.
