The atmosphere is friendly and cheerful; you immediately feel at ease. We had breakfast there, with excellent coffee, and we would have gladly stayed longer to try the homemade fries. A lively brasserie that makes you want to take the time to chat, laugh, and simply enjoy life's little pleasures. Thank you!

18/04/2026: I wanted to sincerely thank the team at L'Expert de la Bière for their intervention last Friday evening when I felt unwell, and much more besides. They were all incredibly kind and helpful in assisting me during this difficult time, which required a great deal of courage on their part. It's such a shame my experience at this bar ended this way, because beyond their intervention, my friend and I had a very promising start to the evening. Good music, a friendly atmosphere, very reasonable prices—everything for a great night out. A huge thank you again to this fabulous team.

01/10/2026: I came on Thursday, October 1st, around 8:30 pm. I asked for a straw, as it had become quite difficult to drink properly since the ice cubes were reduced in size. The young blonde woman who was assembling the ice cream refused to give me one, in a rather curt and unpleasant manner. She was very cold and moved directly to the next customer before I had even finished speaking to her. I found her attitude really unfortunate, especially for such a simple request. Fortunately, the gentleman at the reception/lobby made up for the situation very well. He was very kind, warm, and attentive. Thank you to him for his welcome, but I hope the staff's attitude towards customers can be improved.

04/06/2026: We were seated at the back surrounded by bottles. It was a Wednesday night & it was nearly full. We had the bruscetta to share for entree. It was large & covered to the max with tomato & cheese. My partner had the pork filet mignon for a main & he liked it. My salmon pasta was a bit cold, but there was a lot of salmon in it. The side of vegetables was delicious. The service was a bit up & down, forgetting some items at times. Overall, worth a visit.

15/09/2026: Angela prepares a homemade daily special every lunchtime. Traditional, simple, and delicious cuisine. For example: pork ribs, steak with eggs, or andouillettes… They also have croque-monsieur sandwiches that are well worth trying. I highly recommend it!

23/09/2026: We chose the Bollywood menu at €16.99. We thought there would be a choice of starter, main course, and dessert, but it was actually an assortment of 2 starters, 2 main courses, 2 desserts, and a naan, which was a pleasant surprise for those wanting to discover Indian cuisine. * For starters, the beef samosa was good, but there was only one. The chana masala was strange. It contained a sort of extra-hot cream, but not in the spicy sense of the word. It was as if it were a dairy product that had gone bad. * For the main course, the chicken with a spicy sauce was good, but the portion was small, served with fragrant rice. The bartha was excellent, undoubtedly the best dish on the menu. * For dessert, there was a carrot cake and a semolina cake (colored red, oddly enough). Not to my taste, but rather well-made. The downside: the waiter came to ask us if we wanted another naan. I naively thought it was included in the menu, as everything else was on the menu. Double! No way, €7 extra for 2 cheese naans! It's a shame because the staff are friendly and smiling. I would appreciate a response to this comment that wasn't generated by AI.

28/09/2026: A truly pleasant setting, a welcoming team, and attentive service. We had a wonderful meal: generous portions, beautifully presented, and above all, delicious. It has everything you'd expect from a good downtown brasserie, with a genuinely friendly atmosphere. A fantastic spot just steps from Place d'Erlon, where I'll gladly return. I highly recommend it!
